Hi, I am Shivangi Shetye
On 6th April I was tested positive for covid. My oxygen level was 99. Since I am diabetic and has history of Bronchitis I was advised to get admitted and on 11th April I was admitted. My oxygen level was 99. In the hospital I was taught to do breathing exercise. V were doing it 3 times a day. On 16th night I had fever and my oxygen level dropped to 88. I was on oxygen support. But I continued doing breathing exercise though I couldn’t even take deep breathing properly. By continuing the breathing exercise everyday my oxygen level increased to 96/97 on 21st of April. Doctor observed me for 2 days and was discharged on 23rd April without oxygen support. Doctor advised me for Pulmonary rehab(physiotherapy breathing exercise). I attended Dr. Jinal Mody’s physiotherapy breathing exercise session for seven days. With this my breathing exercise for which I had to strain myself now I am able to do it with ease and my oxygen level has increased to 98/99.
This is only because of the breathing exercise I am doing regularly.
Friends breathing exercise is the best way to increase the oxygen level.
