Her ‘Creams & Dreams Therapy’, has helped many people with skin diseases. ABOUT THE SKIN MATRA CLINIC
I started The Skin Matra Clinic with the intention of not only providing the latest skin care treatments to people, but to also create awareness about the largest but most neglected organ of the body. Ironically, I use the word neglected since we see so many people using so many skin care product
s, visiting mulitple dermatologists and yet not be ableto achieve the skin they desire. The lack of knowledge about the proper use of the skin has led to the rise of many unhappy people hopping from one skin care product or skin care clinic to the next. In my clinic, I intend to change the face of this paradoxical situation. Our motto is to generate proper awareness about skin care in the general population. Skin care needn't be expensive but it definitely needs to be well planned. Pradnya Manwatkar

1. Promote the idea of a ‘healthy’ skin rather than the ‘perfect ‘ skin
2. Change the prevailing view that cosmetology treatment is expensive and only reserved for the upper class
3. Create a population of people who understand that skin care is a life style modification and is holistic
4. Create a population who are aware of their skin care needs and do not fall prey to hearsay or the social media
5. Educating people about various skin related social issues like : Fair Skin and the psychology behind it
6. Creating a population of people who understand that skin care is not periodic and that it is process. A process which requires a simple understanding of how one’s skin is. Dr Pradnya Manwatkar frequently engages in continuing medical education, attending workshops and conferences. She is a life member of Indian Association of Dermatology, Venerology and Leprology (IADVL) and Cosmetic Dermatologists Society of India (CDSI).
