Diet for मधुमेह (Diabetes Mellitus)

क्या सेवन खाना चाहिए

पथ्य- चोकर युक्त आटा, (गेहूँ+जौ+चना+सोयाबीन), मूँग, अरहर, चने की दाल, करेला, परवल, लौकी, तोरई, टमाटर, कद्दू, खीरा, हरी मिर्च, पालक, बथुआ, प्याज, लहसुन, नींबू, मेथी, सहिजन आदि की सब्जियाँ, आँवला, जामुन का फल व जामुन की गुठली का चूर्ण, मेथी दाने का पानी, प्रतिदिन 5-7 नीम के कोमल पत्रों का सेवन, पपीता, अमरूद आदि फलों का अल्प मात्रा में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है। फीका दूध छाछ, कषाय रस प्रधान फल का सेवन, भोजन के पश्चात् 15-20 मिनट व प्रतिदिन 3-4 किलोमीटर भ्रमण।

क्या सेवन नही खाना चाहिए

अपथ्य- अधिक समय तक बैठे रहना या आराम करना, भोजन के पश्चात् दिन में सोना, नया अनाज, चावल, दही, गन्ने का रस, मौसमी, केला, अनार, अंजीर, चीकू, सेब, चीन गुड़, मिश्री, आलू, धूम्रपान तथा मद्यपान रोग को बढ़ाने वाला होता है। मूत्र व मल के वेग को नहीं रोकना चाहिए।
