Change in voice is a common symptom in patients who are singers, teachers or who use their voice professionally. It also happens in cases of vocal abuse like excessive shouting etc. It can be checked endoscopically wheather there is a lesion on True Vocal Cords (TVC).

A 32 yrs woman came to us with Change in Voice since 6 months. She had a TVC polyp (Left side image) which developed after vocal abuse. She underwent Micro-Laryngeal Surgery and recieved subsequent voice therapy at our setup. The right side image is of her TVC after surgery. She improved significantly and her voice was restored.

A 50 yr old woman came to the clinic with a complaint of hearing loss in left ear for a long time. She was using a hearing aid and her ear was discharging pus. I examined her thoroughly and found out that she had a perforation in her ear drum and she did not have nerve related hearing loss. I advised her to get operated and she agreed. Everything went well and she was all fine.

She visited me again with her son 3 months after surgery and said, "My ear has not discharged and I have stopped using my hearing aid. I can hear all fine without it now. Thank you so much."

These moments give us motivation and energy to keep going forward and do our best. Glad to improve a life.
