Complex Spinal procedures – Minimally invasive trans-thoracic discectomy, trans-oral and trans-mandibular approach to anterior CVJ, OC fusion, C1-2 procedures, degenerative scoliosis and anterior lumbar procedures, vertebrectomy and reconstruction for tumours, complex trauma to any part of spine

Rotary Activities – Presently a member of Rotary Club of Madras North, Chennai. Chairman of Rotary Foundation. A Paul Harris Fellow since 2012. Thalirgal – A unique project in partnership with Government hospitals, Kauvery hospital, Chennai and Rotary Club of Madras North to treat babies with congenital spine and brain abnormalities. Project AMISH (Awareness Movement for Injuries to the Spine and Head) – Founder of this awareness project to educate people on the seriousness of these injuries and how to avoid them with qualified and trained instructors. Our motto is “Be safe, it’s worth it”. RASTRA – Rotary Aid for Spinal Treatment and Rehabilitation for rehabilitation and vocational training of spinal cord Injured and paralyzed patients. This was the first of its kind in the whole world through Rotary to provide free rehabilitation for 34 patients at a cost of 48 lakhs under my chairmanship and this project is still ongoing.
