Therapeutic yoga is not just a gentle class or a slower sequence of asanas.
It is a precise and responsible practice that works directly with the body’s systems — hormonal, nervous, digestive and emotional.

If you teach or practice therapeutic yoga, remember:

• Every body is different. A posture that heals one person can aggravate another condition.
• Diagnosis matters. Therapeutic sequences should be adapted for specific conditions — thyroid imbalance, hormonal disruptions, back pain, anxiety, digestive disorders.
• Breath is medicine. Pranayama regulates the nervous system and often brings deeper results than physical effort.
