PFA Mysore & Reaching Out To Animals Conducted City-Wide Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive on the 5th December 2025
People For Animals (PFA) Mysore, together with its sister organisation Reaching Out To Animals, carried out a large-scale Anti-Rabies Vaccination (ARV) Drive across Mysuru today.
A total of 116 community dogs were vaccinated, and 15 dogs received immediate treatment for skin issues and minor ailments.
The team covered 30+ localities, including Hinkal, Hunsur Road, Padarayanahalli, Vinayakanagar, Tilak Nagar, Mandi Mohalla, Sayyajirao Road, Devaraja Urs Road surroundings, Chamarajapuram, Freedom Fighter Park, Siddappa Square, Lakshmipuram, N.R. Mohalla, K.C. Layout, J.C. Nagar, Lalithadripura, Uthanahalli, Hosahundi, Bandipalya, J.P. Nagar, Sidlingeshwar Layout, Navodaya Layout, Mahadevapura, Srirampura, Kuvempunagar, Ashokapuram, Vivekanandanagar, Ramakrishnanagar, Dattagalli, and Kanakadasanagar.
As part of ongoing post-operative care, booster ARV doses were administered to dogs previously sterilized under the ABC programme.
Rabies prevention remains a vital public-health priority, and both organisations remain committed to keeping Mysuru safer for animals and people.
