Allama farm stay at Gotagodi, Karnataka.
While at first glance the structure looks free flowing, it is rather a formally organised geometric system that evolved by modifications to the basic arch. A series of arches that merge at 8 junctions transfer the load of the structure to the load bearing laterite construction of the ground floor. A spiral flight of stairs that terminates into a lotus pond, making landscaping a part of the whole.
Functional the structure is designed to house 3 individual rooms with pantry and washrooms. The first floor houses a semi open multipurpose hall with a kitchenette and washrooms.
