Some heroes come into our lives without notice.

Not with loud gestures, but with quiet consistency, steady care, and reassurance that stays long after the moment ends.

Behind every recovery is often a nurse who held space through fear, responded before questions were asked, and stood beside patients and families when it mattered most.

They may not always be remembered first, but their care is felt in every step of healing.
And in some of life’s hardest moments, they become the strength people lean on most.

This Nurses Day, we honour the names that are often forgotten, but never the care they gave.

She doesn't ask to be seen. She just shows up.
Before the day begins, she's already in it. Before anyone notices, she's already taken care of it. The quiet ones always carry the most.
This Mother's Day, her story gets its crown.
Care. Like no other.

There's a version of you that only exists at 3AM.
Half-asleep, slightly overwhelmed, running entirely on love and instinct. No instructions. No preparation. Just you and your baby and the quiet of a house that's finally still.
It's not the easiest hour.
But it might just be the most yours.
To every parent who knows this feeling
you're doing better than you think.

The nesting. The false alarms. The feeling that something is about to change - everything.
The final weeks of pregnancy are their own kind of intense. And almost nobody talks about what they actually feel like.
Not just physically. Emotionally too. Every sensation, every wave of anxiety, every middle-of-the-night spiral, it all makes sense. The body knows exactly what it's doing.

Everyone asks about the baby.
Not enough people ask about the mother.
The weeks after delivery are some of the most demanding - physically, hormonally, emotionally. Recovery isn't a side note. It's the whole chapter.

A birth plan isn't about controlling the unpredictable. Labour rarely goes exactly as imagined, and most first-time mothers find that out fairly quickly.
What a birth plan actually does is start a conversation with your medical team before you're in the middle of it all. Your preferences around pain management. Whether you want an epidural or want to try without. Who you want in the room. Skin-to-skin immediately after birth. Delayed cord clamping. How you'd like to be communicated with if things need to change.
None of these are demands. They're information. And a team that knows what matters to you is better equipped to support you - even when the plan needs to flex.
Writing it down doesn't mean you've got it figured out. It means you've thought about it. That's enough.

36 weeks in. Back pain gone. Mind calmer than ever.
Neeraja walked into Prachi ma'am's pregnancy yoga classes at Motherhood Hospital, Mysore, in her fifth month - and hasn't looked back since.
Better posture, less pain, diet guidance, and a space that made her first pregnancy feel a lot less daunting.
First pregnancies come with a hundred unknowns. The right support makes all the difference.
Congratulations Neeraja - you're almost there.
