I hoped against hope that this couldn’t be!! It is sooooo sad to see this. Today is a very auspicious day in India and the fall has begun in the US - but Sharath you shouldn’t have fallen so soon!! A thorough gentleman and a very gentle spirit Sharath- May you rest in peace. It was a wonderful practice- now is the time for shavasana. You will come back in another form very soon 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Renowned Yoga Guru Sharath Jois passed away in Virginia, USA. He was 51. According to reports, Sharath had gone hiking with his students when he suddenly collapsed and died.
His wife Shruthi has left for Virginia to bring back the mortal remains of Sharath to Mysuru.
