An elderly woman with coronary artery disease was rushed to the casualty section of SDH, Beerwah for complaints of palpitations. She was heamodynamically stable. ECG showed Narrow complex regular tachycardia. She was reverted to Normal Sinus rhythm successfully by the doctor on duty namely Dr irfan Ahmad Bota medical officer MD,Bashir Ahmad Teli,Jan Ab Rehman And Mohd Ashraf

Young male thrombolysed at SDH Beerwah

BUDGAM, DECEMBER 07: A 45 year male was today thrombolysed in ER room at SDH Beerwah after diagnosed inferior wall MI with ST elevation through ECG advised by doctors on duty.

The patient reported SDH Beerwah today at 3.45 am with chest pain and restlessness.

After thrombolysis, the patient got stabilized and pain was relieved. It is worth mentioning that ‘door to needle’ time was only 16 minutes and a young life was saved due to prompt intervention of staff on duty. Patient was later referred to tertiary care in a stabilized condition.

The team members were Jan Mohamad, Bashir Ahmad, Masooda Akther headed by Dr Irfan (Physician). BMO Beerwah Dr Javaid appreciated the role of the team and reiterated the commitment to render services at door steps. He further said that such interventions at the periphery have dramatically changed the health scenario and has helped in saving lives.

19 YEAR OLD MALE PATIENT WITH CHIEF COMPLAINTS OF COUGH WITH HAEMOPTYSIS SINCE LAST 6 MONTHS HAD VISITED SMHS HOSPITAL,CD HOSPITAL AND JVC BEMINA WHERE HE WAS TREATED EMPERICALLY ON OPD BASIS AND WAS NOT EVALUATED.X RAY CHEST WAS DONE ON ARRIVAL ON 22/04/2022 DURING NIGHT DUTY BY DR IRSHAD AHMAD LONE (MBBS,MS) AT SDH BEERWAH WHICH REVEALED HAZINESS OF RIGHT MIDDLE LOBE.PATIENT WAS GIVEN TREATMENT AND ALL BASE LINE INVESTIGATIONS INCLUDING SPUTUM FOR AFB ,CB NAAT WAS DONE ON SPOT,WHICH CAME NEGATIVE.PATIENT WAS ADVISED CT CHEST WHICH REVEALED A CAVITATING LESION WITH LOT OF INFILTRATES WHICH IS SUGGESTIVE OF ACTIVE TUBERCLOSIS AS CONFIRMED BY RADIOLOGIST.PATIENT IS ON OUR FOLLOW UP.

Amid prophesy of bad weather, CMO budgam took stock of covid vaccination program across district.

As the nation achieved the 100 crore milestone in its covid -19 inoculation drive, CMO budgam Dr Tajamul Hussain Khan took a review meeting in his office today for effective and hassel free vaccination drive. He emphasised that it is the collective effort of every warrior that the district Budgam was second in achieving 100% target of inoculating first dose of covid vaccination in 18 + population. All the Block Nodal Officers along with District immunisation officer and Nodal officer covid 19 were present in the meeting. He maintained that we should not loosen the pace and should achieve the target of inoculating 2nd dose in stipulated time. He directed all covid chain handlers to keep sufficient stock of covid vaccination in view of prediction of bad weather. He further said that the vaccination drive should continue even in extreme climatic conditions and door to door vaccination drive should not get hampered. Dr Tajamul highlighted the Unparallel role of DDC budgam Shehbaz Mirza in combating the covid in district budgam.
Dr Tajamul thanked Director General Health and Family welfare and Director Health services kashmir for their continous support and guidance.
