Born on September 5, 1916 – a day India also celebrates as Teachers’ Day – Shri Jayaramdas Muljibhai Patel lived a life rooted in values of service, generosity, and vision.

He served as the Founder Chairman of Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital from 1978 to 2009, shaping it into a center of excellence and compassionate care. This hospital was lovingly named after his father, Shri Muljibhai Patel, a dedicated educationist, as a mark of respect to his ideals of knowledge and service to society.

A man of vision and action, he worked with a deep sense of purpose to give back to society. It was his steadfast commitment, along with his moral and financial contribution, that shaped MPUH into a world-class center for kidney care.

Like a true teacher, Shri Jayaramdasbhai guided and inspired generations — building not only an institution, but also a legacy of humanity and healing.

On his Birth Anniversary, we pay heartfelt tribute to his remarkable life and enduring contributions.
