The PG Department of Panchakarma of J S Ayurevda Mahavidyalaya organised the National Workshop on NADIAD PANCHAKARMA 2025 from 7th to 10th April 2025. In this Workshop, practical demonstrations and hands-on training were conducted for all the delegates who came from six different states in India on various Nadiad Panchakarma procedures, showing their respective roles in Astang Ayurveda.

The “Chaitra Kalpa” is one of the best practices of our institute, which has been practiced regularly for the last 30 years for the health benefit of the community. The specifically designed two classical formulations 1. Nimba Kalka Panaka and 2. Vidanga Tandula Rasayana is distributed in the community during the first 10 days of the Chaitra month. This year, an event was jointly organised with “Indian Redcross - Nadiad” and “Federation of senior citizens clubs of Kheda District” from 30-03 to 08-04-2025.

The Sundar Ayurveda Teaching Pharmacy, PG Dept. of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana had prepared the medicines and supplied to Indian Redcross – Nadiad regularly for distribution in the community. A total of 26 distribution centres were established in different areas of Nadiad, Kheda, Matar, Vaso and Kapadavanja to distribute Nimba Kalka in the community. A total of 22 centres of Nadiad were managed by the volunteers of the Federation of Senior Citizens Clubs of Kheda District, Indian Red Cross - Gujarat State and J S Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya - Nadiad. Every day, an average of 100 beneficiaries at each centre benefited from this novel project. The doctors from J S Ayurved Mahavidyalaya were also available at the centre daily and guided the people regarding the health benefits of the medicine. The centres other than Nadiad were managed by the Indian Red Cross – Gujarat State. More than 20,000 people have benefited from this project and enhanced their health.
