Breast cancer awareness program was organised by Dr. N D Desai faculty of medical sciences, Unit of women cell, DDU at Chopti sim, Aanganvadi area, Salun village to educate the women and girls of rural area about the disease's signs, symptoms, and the importance of early detection and timely treatment to reduce deaths and improve outcomes.

Geriatric awareness program was organized by the Dr. N D Desai faculty of medical sciences, Unit of women cell DDU in Jay Manav Seva Parivar Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old age home), Nadiad on 16th July 2025 . This program aims to promote awareness regarding having balanced nutrition, regular light exercises and doing recreational activities e.g. singing, listening to music,solving puzzle games in old aged adults. This kind of activities are very helpful to relieve stress in routine life.

An awareness programme on substance abuse was organized by the Dr. N D Desai faculty of medical sciences, Unit of women cell DDU in Prathmik Kanya Kumar Shala, Narsanda on 20th June 2025 .
The programme was organised in the classroom of Prathmik Kanya Kumar Shala, Narsanda to educate school boys and girls about risks and consequences of substance abuse which would help them to make informed decisions and resist peer pressure.
