He did his MBBS from Govt medical college, Nagpur.

To pursue his interest in Orthopedics, opted for D.Ortho from Pt.JNM medical college, Raipur; followed by DNB in Orthopedics from Cooper Hospital & Medical college, Mumbai. His whole education is from renowned government institutions and on merit basis securing good ranks at all India level. He stood first amongst his colleagues in D.Ortho exam and also cleared DNB exam in first attempt, an exam considered difficult by many. He did his fellowship in minimal invasive knee and hip joint replacement from Mumbai for a period of 9 months. This intensive fellowship training consisted of 750+ Joint Replacement surgeries making him well verse with all the necessary tricks and skills. SPECIALITY : "SHORT STAY KNEE REPLACEMENT "

Use of minimal invasive and SUBVASTUS technique of Knee replacement makes it possible to give patient a speedy recovery and a comfortable experience like never before. In the special technique of SUBVASTUS Knee Replacement, the "Thigh muscles (Quadriceps muscles) are not cut" (contrary to traditional technique - parapatellar, thigh muscles are cut). As a result of this technique, which avoids damage to the thigh muscles, the usual severe pain after the surgery, slow recovery, need for bed rest, dependency on family in post operative period, long term physiotherapy, long time to return to daily routine can be avoided with subvastus knee replacement. Hence it offers faster recovery, less pain, no/minimal physiotherapy and early return to normal routine usually within 14 days - an overall better experience for patient as well as the family. The usual recovery pattern (timeline) seen/expected after use of SUBVASTUS technique is as follows:

Knee bending immediately after the surgery. Walking with walker next day of surgery
Walking without support 2nd day of surgery
Back to routine life in 14 days. No need of bed rest
Patient is mobile and can go to bathroom from next day of surgery. No to minimal physiotherapy is required

"Floating Shoulder Injury"

Fracture of scapula along with fracture of clavicle is called as floating Shoulder Injury so because the arm is connected to the body via these two bones. When both these bones fracture together the arm has no more bony attachment to the body and hence the term.

It's a rare injury as both bones are uncommonly fractured simultaneously.

Lateral and medial column of scapula were plated along with the clavicle to fix the injury.

Case of Radius and ulna fracture.

Radius fracture here is a 'segmental' fracture (fracture at two places , creating 3 different segments of bone) operated with nailing.

Ulna fracture with a 'butterfly fragment' operated with plating and an interfragmentary screw.

Interfragmentary screw fixes the butterfly fragment and then the whole fracture is fixed with a plate.
