Let's discuss on 💁🏻‍♀️Tennis Elbow (elbow pian)

About 3% of general population is affected by Tennis elbow. Less than one quarter (24%) of these athletes under the age of 50 reported that the tennis elbow symptoms were "severe" and "disabling," while 42% over the age of 50 did.
💁🏻‍♀️ It is more prevalent in individuals over 40, where there is about a four-fold increase among men and two-fold increase among women.
💁🏻‍♀️ Exercise and Rehabilitation is the most effective treatment. Ice, NSAIDS and steroid injections also help in relieving symptoms.
.
💁🏻‍♀️ A systematic review identified 3 risk factors: handling tools heavier than 1 kg, handling loads heavier than 20 kg at least 10 times per day, and repetitive movements for more than 2 hours per day.
💁🏻‍♀️ Other risk factors are overuse, repetitive movements, training errors, misalignments, flexibility problems, ageing, poor circulation, strength deficits or muscle imbalance and psychological factors.

Hello everyone
Today let's discuss about an important topic😳 Back pain.😳..As many of us are suffering from back pain.... Reasons following may vary from person to person.....
BACK PAIN

What is Back Pain?

It can result from injury, activity and some medical conditions. Back pain can affect people of any age, for different reasons. As people get older, the chance of developing lower back pain increases, due to factors such as previous occupation and degenerative disk disease.
Lower back pain may be linked to the bony lumbar spine, discs between the vertebrae, ligaments around the spine and discs, spinal cord and nerves, lower back muscles, abdominal and pelvic internal organs, and the skin around the lumbar area.
The human back is composed of a complex structure of muscles, ligaments, tendons, disks, and bones, which work together to support the body and enable us to move around.
Causes of Back Pain
The segments of the spine are cushioned with cartilage-like pads called disks.
Problems with any of these components can lead to back pain. In some cases of back pain, its cause remains unclear.
Damage can result from strain, medical conditions, and poor posture, among others.
Back pain can also result from some everyday activities or poor posture.
Examples include:
Adopting a very hunched sitting position when using computers can result in increased back and shoulder problems over time.
· twisting
· coughing or sneezing
· muscle tension
· over-stretching
· bending awkwardly or for long periods
· pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying something
· standing or sitting for long periods
· straining the neck forward, such as when driving or using a computer
· long driving sessions without a break, even when not hunched
· sleeping on a mattress that does not support the body and keep the spine straight
Physiotherapy Treatment
Passive physical therapy (modalities), which includes things done to the patient, such as heat application, ice packs and electrical stimulation. For example, a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterward to sooth the muscles and soft tissues.
Active physical therapy, which focuses on specific exercises and stretching. For most low back pain treatments, active exercise is the focus of the physical therapy program.
