# Sleep disturbances

How to Relax the child....

# Create to do list.
# Motivate them to eat regularly and make time to have fun and exercise.
# Always encourage your child to relax before they go to bed after concentrating for long periods of time.
# Encourage them to go out for a walk or do some other thing they enjoy for a while.
# Give protective, safe and pressure free environment.
# Talk about the stress - it gives relief.
# Treat them - take them out for a little entertainment.
# Teach them relaxation techniques such as listening to some gentle music or deep breathing.
# Help your child to develop a positive mindset by encouraging them to visualize success -this builds SELF CONFIDENCE.
# Avoiding rushing on the day of the exam by organizing and packing everything they need to take with them the night before.
# Keep away from people who may agitate them before the test or may say unhelpful, anxiety provoking comments.
# Ask them to take time to slow their breathing and relax when they first sit down in the exam room.
# Once the paper is completed, re-read answers if possible and make any changes that are necessary - correct spellings or any workings.
# Eating healthy is must during exam time - this keeps blood sugar and hydration levels steady, which helps to concentrate and focus on the studies.
