As an Oncosurgeon, I had the privilege of conducting a Breast Cancer Awareness session for the trained beauticians of Nagpur.

Beauticians meet many women every day and can play a powerful role in spreading health awareness. During this session, we discussed:
🔹 Importance of early detection
🔹 Warning signs of breast cancer
🔹 Step-by-step Self Breast Examination (SBE)
🔹 When to consult a doctor

Breast cancer detected early is highly treatable. Awareness in the community can save lives.

Every woman should:
✔ Do a monthly self-breast examination
✔ Be alert to any lump, change in size/shape, skin changes, or ni**le discharge
✔ Go for regular screening after the age of 40 or earlier if high risk

Let’s work together to spread awareness and encourage early detection.
