Health Worker's & Nurses Gathering
The Archdiocese of Nagpur Health Commission, in collaboration with the Catholic Nurses Guild of India (CNGI), organized a Health Professionals and Nurses Gathering on Sunday, 18th January 2026, at the Catholic Institute Hall. Around 70 participants, including nursing students, working and retired nurses, and religious sisters, took part in the programme.
The event was graced by *His Grace, Most Rev. Elias Joseph Gonsalves* , Archbishop of Nagpur, Rev. Sr. Sarla Macwan, National President of CNGI, Dr. Fr. Joseph Polishetty, Fr. Francis, and other dignitaries. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome dance by Providence Nursing students.
The Archbishop delivered an inspiring message, encouraging nurses to continue their service with dedication and compassion. Dr. Fr. Joseph Polishetty presented the Health Commission’s Annual Report (2025) and Pastoral Plan (2026). Fr Francis & Sr. Paulina shared her testimony, while a motivational skit by Bro. Robert and team was well appreciated.
Rev. Sr. Sarla Macwan spoke on the mission and vision of CNGI.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging all contributors.
