World Hemophilia Day 2022 is celebrated on 17th April all over the world to create awareness about this inherited bleeding disorder. The people with hemophilia have prolonged bleeding from any injury and their blood does not clot properly.

April 17th is celebrated as
World Hemophilia day.
Every year, landmarks around the world are lit up in red as part of the World Hemophilia Day “Light It Up Red” campaign.
In Nagpur, Hemophilia society, Nagpur Chapter
with the help of sponsorship from
Kadu Healthcare Foundation
has taken up
“Light It Up Red” campaign.

In this campaign, the monuments in Nagpur city, like, Zero Mile monument, Gowari Smruti Smarak and Shaheed Smarak
Are lit up in Red colour to create and raising the level of awareness about Hemophilia.
The theme of big day this year is
“Adapting to change: sustaining care in a new world”.
