We have donated

Conocarpus— 360

Today’s saplings were planted at Lendra park ( Oxygen park ) Ramdaspeth. *
*Infocept foundation** will be taking care of the planted saplings for 5-8 years till they are self sustaining .
All our plants 🌱 were above 4 ft to ensure sustainability.

This Venture was co ordinated by **Green foundation **
With the help of Mr Nishant Gandhi

Today’s event was also assisted by CUTEM LIFE SCIENCES pharmaceuticals.

Today, on August 3rd, VDS's PGCAP3.0 + quiz was conducted at IMA. Dr. Nandita Gawande from Shalinitai Meghe received the best paper presentation award while Dr Akarsh Agrawal from AIIMS Nagpur won 2nd prize and Team IGGMCwon the quiz. Congrats to all the winners and the participants for such wonderful case presentations

Today on 20/7, VDS organised a CME + workshop on photodynamic therapy for melasma, intradermal dutasteride and bicalutamide, Inj deoxycholic acid for submental fat reduction….Dr Amit Kerure and Dr Umesh Bilewar from Mumbai, Dr Shashank Bansod, Dr Rajshree Choudhary and myself were the speakers

Today 6th July, we conducted a CME in association with AIBDF, an organisation who provides free RITUXIMAB injections, free tests, bare admissions expenses, for poor and needy pemphigus patients

VDS(Vidarbha Dermatological Society) organized a fitness activity event *Mission FitVDS* for it's members and family members, to instill a habit of regular physical activity. (It was inspired by Fitness challenge of IMA, Akola)
60 members registered for the event which started on 6th December 2023 to 16th January 2024 (within 6 weeks 36 days activity was allowed with mandatory 1 day rest per week).
Following the set rules participants posted their strava-recorded activity(walk/run/cycle) on whatsapp groups. Coordinators monitored, noted and kept record of the activities. Points were alloted for every valid activity. Prizes and medals will be distributed according to points scored.

It was fun organising this activity, as we could see enthusiasm, increasing camaraderie and healthy competition amongst members. Lot of inspirational stories and experiences were shared by participants. Inspite of adversities, few members continued activity.
At the end it was just a small effort on our part to motivate members to stay physically active to stay healthy in our stressful life and busy sedentary lifestyle.

Let's hope we all take care of our health in whatever way we can.
Stay active, Stay fit, Stay healthy.

VDS organised 1st Best CAP (case paper) Award for postgraduate students of dermatology from the institutes in vidarbha region, at Dr Dinkar Hardas CME hall at IMA house in Nagpur on 6th August 2023.
