Wishes you all 1st April RBI foundation day!

Over hundred years ago, a young Indian economist at the age of 21 reached New York in the third week of July. His name was Dr. B.R.Ambedkar.

Dr. Ambedkar later became famous as a relentless critic of the pernicious caste system, an inspiring political leader and the moving spirit of the Indian Constitution, but his early training was as an economist.

The young scholar would sit for hours in the university library. In his three years at Columbia, Dr. Ambedkar took 29 courses in economics, 11 in history, six in sociology, five in philosophy, four in anthropology, three in politics and one each in elementary French and German, according to the Columbia website.

RBI was conceptualized as per the guidelines, working style and outlook presented by Dr BR Ambedkar in his book. It was titled "The Problem of the Rupee - Its origin and its solution" and presented to the Hilton Young Commission. The bank was set up based on the recommendations of the 1926 Royal Commission on Indian Currency and Finance, also known as the Hilton-Young Commission.

I salute the visionary who was way ahead of times with his words and thoughts to build the new India. Hence we rightly call him - 'Father of Modern India'

ही प्रातिक होना चाहिए इस विचार को श्रीलंका के
अनागारिक देवंमित्त धम्मपाल, महास्थवीर गुणानंद ,सुमगल
,बौद्ध विद्वान् जी आर .डिसिल्वा आदी ने मिलकर नीला,
पिला, लाल, सफ़ेद, केसरी, एसे पाच रगों के खड़े एव आड़े पट्टों में
विश्व बोद्ध ध्वज की निर्मीती की….!
जिसका माप -खड़ा 50 से. मी.,तथा अडा 70 से.मी. है !

1) नीला रंग — शांति एव प्रेम का प्रतिक है !
2) पिला रंग — तेज और उत्साह का प्रतिक है !
3) लाल रंग — शौर्य और साहस का प्रतिक है !
4) सफेद रंग — शुद्धता और निर्मलता का प्रतिक है !
5) केसरी रंग — त्याग और करुना का प्रतिक है !
माना जाता है की तथागत की काया से प्रस्फुटित होनेवाले
रगों की आभा के अनुरूप इनमे रगों का समावेश किया गया
है…… !
अत : इसे विश्व “बौद्ध ध्वज” या “धम्म ध्वज”…… ही कहना न्याय
सगत होगा !

Tomorrow is the day, which we all Karate Lovers are eagerly waiting for

Our coveted game, KARATE - DO, will be featured for the first time as an Olympic Sport in Tokyo (Japan), since its inception.

Let's join hands to witness history being made for the first time at the Olympic Games, where Karate is scheduled to be held from 5th to 7th August 2021.

It's indeed an honour and proud moment for all of us and our National Association- SHOTOKAN KARATE-DO ASSOCIATION OF INDIA which is Internationally Affiliated to TRADITIONAL INTERNATIONAL SHOTOKAN KARATE ASSOCIATION (TISKA) and TISKA is member of WKF and the World Karate Federation (WKF), the Organisation which will be conduct the game of Karate at the Tokyo Olympics.
