Honourable Panchayats of Middle and Lower Kabrey, Assistant Director Panchayat, JAS members, and boundry holders of HWC land gathered today at HWC , concerned Revenue Surveyor measured the land and area of HWC and indicated the proper boundry of HWC in presence of concern boundry holders.

The initiative was taken to ensure the proper demarcation of government property to prevent the disputes between boundry holders and to give the clarity to concern staff regarding the property of health and wellness center.

During the inspection all four boundry holders namely Birkha Singh S***a, Micheal Eden S***a, Ratna Kumar S***a and Puspa Lal Baraily along with Shri Damber S***a were present.

Health and Wellness Centre ,Kabrey is grateful and would like to thank for the praise worthy initiative taken by Honble Panchayats and Shri Damber S***a.

Health and Wellness Centre, Kabrey is also thankful to Revenue Surveyors for their valuable cooperation in bringing the clarity regarding the boundaries and areas of government property.

Programme was conducted with the support of Head Mistress, Staff and the SMC of Govt Primary school, Rubdhi.

IEC given on Tuberculosis, NCDs, lifestyle modification and importance of early detection through screening.

Chest Xray, NCD screening, NCD follow up with general OPD services were provided to the public, students and school staffs.

AYUSHMAN AROGYA SHIVIR CONDUCTED today at Jholungay Lower Kabrey.

Team conducted IEC session on Tuberculosis, NCDs and importance of screening for early detection.

Individuals were screened for Tuberculosis through chest xray and Non communicable diseases.

MOIC provided general OPD services to the patients and was present for onsite Xray evaluation.

Total 53 Individuals under Kabrey HWC and 26 individuals under Namthang PHC were screened for Tuberculosis and NCDs.

Home visted for a High Risk ANC case with Hypertension at Samardung by MPHW and ANM on 21st April 2026.

Efforts being made by visiting home of high risk ANC to ensure her well being, adherence to prescribed treatment, timely management of danger signs, counselling for the outcome and possibilities of life threatening danger signs on both mother and unborn fetus.

Medicines stocked with mother checked, blood pressure monitored ,explained the timing and d osage of medicines, emergency contact numbers shared incase of any emergency and guided for further investigation and treatment process.

Couple were counselled for availability of family planning methods, encouraged Husband for opting of family planning.

Preventive measures is vital in ensuring the safe delivery of baby and well being of mother to avoid any maternal or neonatal mortality.

Kabrey HWC is committed to ensure there is zero maternal or neonatal mortality rate in the area and urged community to come forward to support such couples in ensuring their wellbeing, timely care and support whenever in need.

NIKSHAY SHIVIR CONDUCTED TODAY AT UPPER KABREY

Ongoing 100days TUBERCULOSIS Screening campaign under National Tuberculosis Elimination Program conducted today at upper Kabrey.

Villagers from Upper Kabrey, Karek Rubdhi and lower Nagi were screened for TB through Chest Xray, Non communicable diseases and anemia , along with the screening general OPD services were provided by Mobile Village Clinic team of Namchi. Along with screening, IEC session was conducted on which awareness given to villagers for Motive of conducting shivir, aim of NTEP, Tuberculosis, its treatment and the importance of early detection through screening.

To smoothly run the screening process ICDS Supervisor, AWW, AWH, ASHAs , MVC team, team from HWC Kabrey and HWC Namthang were present.

Total 19 Villagers under Kabrey HWC and 21 Villagers under Namthang PHC were screened and provided comprehensive basic health care services at their door step.

*During the meeting performance of FY 2025-26 discussed

*New targets for FY 2026-27 and updated population discussed

- Work Plans for the first quarter discussed and prepared tentative action plans
- Reorientation on Routine immunisation and AEFI
- Direction given to all ASHAs and AWWs for proper tracking of ECs and regular follow up of high risk ANCs and LBW babies.
- Importance of MCP card and its content explained
- Reorientation on Bio medical waste management rules and its protocol
- lastly all were screened for NCDs, anemia along with TD vaccination and Deworming done.

AYUSHMAN AROGYA SHIVIR/NIKSHAY SHIVIR Conducted on 6th April 2026 at Govt Kabrey Secondary School.

A 100 Days Active case finding shivir under National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme:

During the SHIVIR 14yrs and above aged students, school staffs and villagers were screened for active Tuberculosis through chest xray, the SHIVIR had presence of Medical Officer in charge for onsite consultation and xray interpretation along with the Xray technician and Staff Nurse from Namthang PHC.

Throughout the screening process, Head Master Kabrey Secondary School and Staff supported the team for the smooth process of screening.

Team KABREY HWC consisting of MLHP and ASHAs coordinated the whole screening process and its reporting on prescribed portals.

WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY 24TH MARCH 2026

Today on the occasion of World TUBERCULOSIS Day ,District Tuberculosis Center ,Namchi handed over the certificate for TB free health and wellness center to Kabrey HWC.

This is the result of continuous efforts of health workers ,ASHAs and AWWs working tirelessly under the jurisdiction of Kabrey HWC covering the six wards of Karek Kabrey Gpu.

Health and Wellness Centre, Kabrey would also like to thank the villagers (specifically elderlys) for cooperating us during the screening process ,they not only visited the HWC or screening camps but also visited District Hospital for Xray screening without hesitation and our ASHAs has played tremendous role in accommodating them for screening camp to taking them to District hospital for XRAY.

We would also like to thank Mr Bal Krishna Sharma of Samardung who supported us by giving their personal residence area for the screening camp at Samardung not just once but for multiple times.

During the year more then 300 high-risk categorised individuals were screened for active and latent Tuberculosis on which 5 individuals were detected for latent Tuberculosis who went through 3months course treatment and are already free of TB infection risk in future.
4 cases for active Tuberculosis were detected on which 2 were pulmonary and 2 was extra pulmonary tuberculosis, all cases are under active supervision of Kabrey HWC and are verge of completing their 6months TB treatment.

Our efforts do not end here, elimination of Tuberculosis from our community needs more active support of Community, stake holders and public representatives in coming days too.
