We are happy to announce that on 19th march 2025, star kidney center got permission for kidney transplant. 2nd April 2025, we did first kidney transplantation and on 12th April 2025 we did second successful kidney transplantation in star kidney center.

आम्हाला हे जाहीर करताना आनंद होत आहे की १९ मार्च २०२५ रोजी स्टार किडनी सेंटरला किडनी प्रत्यारोपणाची परवानगी मिळाली. २ एप्रिल २०२५ रोजी आम्ही पहिले किडनी प्रत्यारोपण केले आणि १२ एप्रिल २०२५ रोजी आम्ही स्टार किडनी सेंटरमध्ये दुसरे यशस्वी किडनी प्रत्यारोपण केले.

“माझा पहिला पॅराक्वेट विषबाधा झालेला रुग्ण जो वाचला"

पॅराक्वेटमध्ये जवळजवळ १००% मृत्युदर आहे. आम्ही आधीच्या रुग्णांमध्ये हेमोडायलिसिस आणि प्लाझ्मा एक्सचेंज केले पण अंतिम परिणाम तोच होता.

आम्ही मागच्या एक वर्षापासून HA230 फिल्टरने हेमोपरफ्यूजन सुरू केले. परंतु तरीही 2 रुग्णांना वाचवू शकलो नाही. एकाने सुमारे 150 मिली पेक्षा जास्त प्रमाणात विष घेतले होते आणि दुसरा रूग्ण तिसऱ्या~चौथ्या दिवशी रुग्णालयात पोहोचला . हेमोपरफ्यूजन किमान 24 तासांच्या आत केले पाहिजे आणि सर्वोत्तम म्हणजे 6 तासांच्या आत केले तर.

१ मार्च रोजी, त्याने संध्याकाळी ७ वाजता सुमारे ५० मिली विष घेतले. त्याचे आई वडील त्याला घेऊन रात्री १०.३० च्या सुमारास भगवती रुग्णालयात पोहोचले. डॉ. विठ्ठल फड ड्युटीवर होते. त्यांनी या प्रकरणावर उपचार करण्याच्या सर्वोत्तम मार्गाबद्दल डॉ. राहुल देशमुख यांच्याशी चर्चा केली आणि विशेष HA 230 फिल्टर हेमोपरफ्यूजनसाठी त्यांना स्टार किडनी सेंटरमध्ये हलविण्यात आले. ४५ मिनिटांत आम्ही हेमोपरफ्यूजन सुरू केले. रुग्णाच्या लघवीमधे पराक्वेट ची मात्रा तपासून पुढील २ दिवसांत आणखी २ वेळा हिमोपरफ्यूजन करण्यात आले. त्याला काही काळ कृत्रीम ऑक्सिजन सपोर्टची आवश्यकता भासली. त्याला एक्यूट किडनी फेल्यूर झाला आणि लिवर ला दुखापत झाली जे काही काळानंतर ठीक झाले.

My first Paraquet poisoning patient who survived”

Paraquet has almost 100% mortality. We did hemodialysis and plasma exchage in earlier patients but end result was same.
We started doing hemoperfusion with HA 230 filter since last year. But still could not save 2 patients one consumed large amount around 150 mL and other reached hospital on day 3/4. Hemoperfusion should be done at least within 24 hours and best when done within 6 hours.
On 1st march, he consumed around 50 mL at 7 pm. He reached Bhagwati hospital around 10.30 pm. Dr. Vitthal Phad was on duty. He discussed this case with Dr Rahul Deshmukh about the best possible way to treat and considering the golden hours for hemoperfusion with special HA 230 filter, he was shifted to Star Kidney Center. Within 45 minutes we started hemoperfusion. After urine Paraquet test, we repeated 2 more sessions on next 2 days. He required minimal oxygen support. There was Acute Kidney Injury and Hepatitis which recovered over a period of time.

Last year started with 3 successful transplants in a month of January. All 3 donors were female, two mothers and one wife.
This year started with 2 successful kidney transplants in a month of January. Both donors were male. One father and one father in law. We like this change. Most of the times it's female who donates. My respect to those men who come forward for organ donation. They are changing the world...

गेल्या वर्षी जानेवारी महिन्यात 3 यशस्वी प्रत्यारोपणाने सुरुवात झाली. सर्व 3 दात्या महिला होत्या, 2 माता आणि 1 पत्नी .
या वर्षाची सुरुवात जानेवारी महिन्यात 2 यशस्वी किडनी प्रत्यारोपणाने झाली. दोन्ही दाते पुरुष होते. एक वडील आणि एक सासरे. आम्ही या बदलाचे स्वागत करतो. बहुतेक वेळा स्त्रियाच अवयव दान करतात. अवयवदानासाठी पुढे येणाऱ्या पुरुषांप्रती मला विशेष आदर आहे. ते जग बदलत आहेत...
