NaNiDaM : A destination for Bangalore Treks.
An Ecomuseum nestled in the midst of the Hill range provides dayout destination for stays / picnics and short treks.

Nandi Hills range is one of the finest trekking destinations close to Bangalore.

The Nandihills range constitute a number of Hill clusters. One such is The Nandi cluster. It includes

1. Brahma Giri
2. Nanda Giri
3. Channa Giri
4. Skanda Giri
5. Dhenu Giri
6. Dibba Giri
7. Hullu Giri
8. Simha Giri

They are all between 60 - 70 kms from Bangalore.

Around 65 km from Bangalore, Channagiri hills is one of the most picturesque & also most challenging hills to trek near Bangalore. It is very close to the popular Nandi hills & Skandagiri but is relatively less explored than both those hills. The beautiful views, the Omkareshwara temple, Hanuman temple on top of the hill & the cave temple are the highlights of this trek.

Trek Difficulty Level- Moderate to Difficult

Skandagiri Sunrise Trek

Skandagiri can said to be one of the first names to pop up when someone in Bangalore hears of night trek. It is one of the very few places in Karnataka where night trekking is allowed now & therefore people throng to this hill on weekends to do night trek. The sunrise view from the summit & the ruins of the fort are the highlights of this trek. You'll have to take permission from the Karnataka State Forest Department & buy tickets before going on this trek.
