Today July 7, ArogyaOnline celebrates it's Foundation Day. It is a date that is very relevant for us as we made our foray into the Healthcare domain with the Vision to make a Difference in the lives of the Elderly and the Ailing.....we started off really small and not knowing where do we get our patients from, and from where we would source our Caregivers. We started our Operations in Nasik, Maharashtra where the concept of Home Healthcare was quite new... it was a service whereby the hospital staff used to do an additional duty outside of their duty or maids providing extended support to the households.

ArogyaOnline has been a pioneer in bringing a Professional touch to Care providing trained Caregivers and Nursing staff and setting very high benchmark of quality in Care.

Our workforce comprises predominantly of women and it used to be a real struggle to get them to attend to their job regularly and on time. Over this period of 5 years, we feel proud to have a dedicated team who have stayed with us in the toughest of times - Covid being the biggest challenge for all- and proved their loyalty, faith and trust that we are there with them and their families. It makes us feel good that we have contributed in our own small way towards Women Empowerment through impactful service to society.

What goes around comes around and yes, the empathy and support radiates and find expression in the Quality of Care we provide...true to our philosophy- Dekhbaal Apnon Jaisi..Dil Se!!

Having provided more than 50000 patient bedside sessions till date, we feel our work is just a drop in the Vast Ocean. We have a long way to go and we envision a bigger dream to impact many more lives through new and unique initiatives.

Thanking all our patients for their trust in us and our Caregivers and Nurses for performing way beyond their call of duty.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, ArogyaOnline Healthcare in collaboration with Rotary Club of Nasik West conducted a Yoga workshop for children with Hearing Disability at the special school - Mai Lele Vidya Mandir, Nasik

Around 150 children of all age groups participated wholeheartedly in the activity. It was conducted by Yoga Specialist - Ms Ketaki Deshpande- who is on the panel of ArogyaOnline Healthcare for conducting on-site Corporate Yoga workshops.

A small initiative to take Yoga to the schools and provide access to its benefits for all, this was a first step in that direction... this was only the beginning.....

ArogyaOnline Healthcare completes 6 months of rendering Compassionate Home care Services in Nashik - a Tier 2 town around 130 kms from Mumbai. We did around 1500 patient bedside sessions in this period and provided support to families of Cancer patients, Terminally ill patients, patients with Neurological disorders and post operative rehab and physiotherapy sessions.

Its been a great learning and we are evolving every day with each experience. Now taking baby steps to enter Mumbai....

Hello everyone! As you are aware that we have forayed in the HOME HEALTHCARE SERVICE domain and here are some observations we have made......

1) Families having a patient that needs the attention of a caregiver most of the time look out for a non-medical attendant rather than a nursing assistant

2) Price is the main criterion in deciding on opting for a caregiver from a third party. This is because cost of HOME CARE SERVICES is not covered under Health Insurance (Mediclaim as is commonly referred to in India) and even if the Hospitalization costs are covered, most of the people being underinsured the family has to bear huge costs from their own pocket on account of Co-pay / Deductibles/ Exclusions ....HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES ... especially in India.. are you listening???

3) Rising Cost of Medical treatments, diagnosis and procedures due to advances in technology resulting in typically shorter hospital stays and longer post-hospitalization recovery at home

3) Families do not know how to handle patient at home and are ignorant about the significance of appropriate Rehabilitation of the patient post-operative / post-hospitalization - they learn by asking their friends, family who have faced similar ordeal and by trial and error

4) Half knowledge is dangerous and add to that Self-medication, ease of getting information online thanks to Google, the health outcome of many patients is anything but Normal - it is shocking to see how patients just suddenly decide to stop medications, resort to alternate modes of treatment, do not go for regular followup and simply have no clue where their health is heading

5) PATIENT EDUCATION, Counselling, SUPPORT are absolute prerequisites for better health outcomes.

All the above scenarios warrant the imperative need of PROFESSIONAL HOME CARE SERVICE PROVIDERS who are committed to support the family and to help the patient on the path to recovery with Compassion, Care, patience and understanding, boosting the confidence and morale of the patient and facilitating their path to recovery.
