Sublingual ranula is a mucous extravasation cyst arising from the Sublingual gland, presenting as a bluish swelling in the floor of the mouth.
Definitive treatment includes excision of the ranula along with removal of the involved gland to minimize recurrence.
Meticulous preservation of Wharton's duct is essential during surgery.
A stent can be placed to maintain ductal patency and ensure proper salivary flow post-operatively.

Patient presented with neck swelling, difficulty in swallowing and breathing, and voice changes. Surgical excision of laryngopyocele was performed. Tracheostomy was done beforehand to secure the airway and prevent complications from infection or postoperative swelling.
