People use Apple Cider Vinegar in LCKD diet for fat loss. But are there some real, long term & significant internal health benefits of apple cider vinegar other than just fat loss and outer beauty?

Here I am sharing results (and links for those who are interested in details) of 2 scientific human & animal studies on Apple Cider Vinegar. The first study shows how consuming ACV(Apple Cider Vinegar) over 8 week period reduced total cholesterol, LDL (bad cholesterol) & triglycerides (fats dissolved in blood) without affecting the HDL (good cholesterol much). The second study on diabetic mice shows how ACV from 7th day onwards reduced blood glucose levels significantly and this was maintained on days 14 and 21.

Study 01 brief-
This quasi-experiment study(time series design) was carried out on 19 patients with hyperlipidemia. The subjects had been referred to a cardiologist and agreed to consume apple cider vinegar. At baseline, blood samples were obtained to measure cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein (LDL), and high density lipoprotein (HDL). The tests were repeated at two, four, and eight weeks of vinegar consumption. The results were analyzed using repeated measurement analysis. There were significant reduction in the serum levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL after eight weeks of consuming apple cider vinegar and with an increased HDL levels but the trend was not statistically significant. Consumption of apple cider vinegar over a 8 week period had a beneficial effect in significant reductions in harmful blood lipids and is recommended as a simple and cost-effective treatment for hyperlipidemia

Study 02 brief-
Our results indicated that apple cider vinegar in both concentrations was not effective after 3 days of the start of its administration. However, on day 7 it reduced blood glucose levels significantly and this was maintained on days 14 and 21. Glucose tolerance test showed that apple cider vinegar was effective in lowering blood glucose level after 60 minutes of glucose administration and this was maintained up to 120 minutes. Also, in both concentrations significantly reduced serum amylase levels 21 days after the start of its administration. Conclusions: Therefore, in this study it has been revealed that apple cider vinegar has considerable reducing effect on blood glucose levels in diabetic mice. The mechanism of this action and its significance remain to be elucidated in future investigations.

The LoGiCal diet-

The Low Glycemic Index Calorie Structured Diet- Simple, effective & healthiest way to lose fat & gain strength-

1.)Stick to low Glycemic Index / Glycemic Load food. This will ensure there’s no unwanted Insulin Spike.

2.)Calorie Structure- Know your DMC (Daily Maintenance Calories) by calculating your BMR and daily activity level. (For most people it’s BMR x 1.2)

3.)Go on a daily 500 calories deficit from DMC. Example- DMC 2200 - 500 = 1700. A daily 1700 calorie diet

4.)Go for a Cheat Day once a week. Go crazy... Eat whatever you feel like

5.)Repeat

The Low-GI Superhuman Diet

I lost 4 kgs of fat in a month while getting stronger and more energetic.
Simplistic and easy, more or less the ideal diet in my opinion. This naturally helps
-burn fat,
-improve muscles & strength,
-you get all the required nutrients
-and many more benefits.
Also, it is very easy to stick to this diet for a very long period of time.

There are 5 simple rules to follow 6 days a week and you are
allowed a “dieters gone wild” day. Here are the rules:

Rule #1: Avoid “white” starchy carbohydrates (or those that can be white).
This means all bread, pasta, rice, rotis, potatoes, and grains.

Rule #2: Eat the same few meals over and over again, especially for breakfast and lunch. You already do this; you’re just picking new default meals.

Rule #3: Don’t drink calories. Black coffee, black tea, green tea, ginger tea etc. are fine.

Rule #4: Don’t eat fruit. (Fructose –> glycerol phosphate –>more body-fat)
Don’t panic! You’ll get your vitamins from vegetables & beans.

Rule #5: Take one day off per week and go nuts. Eat whatever sweets, fruits or junk you feel like.

The Low-GI (Low Glycemic Index) diet are carbs that don’t produce a large spike in insulin. Without that spike in insulin for 6 of 7 days your body is less likely to store fat. That means lots of veggies and meats/paneers/fish. Beans and lentils are suggested to keep calories up since veggies are not calorie dense.

The cheat day actually is very beneficial. The spike in calories throws your metabolism in overdrive. Not to mention it gives the dieter a day to relax with strict rules and live a little.

To get the most out of each exercise, it's essential to adhere strictly to the instructions. This will ensure that you safely gain the full benefits of your strength training program.

One primary reason why technique falters is using too much weight. Take the Bicep Curl for example. Some people curl a large weight for show, but they bring their elbows forward and lean back, which reduces the effectiveness of the bicep-isolating exercise. For optimal results, less weight should be used so perfect form can be maintained—with the bicep actually doing all of the work.

This philosophy of "less is more" must be applied across all strength exercises. There's little sense in performing an exercise—such as a Back Squat—if you aren't able to successfully go through the full range of motion, or if you must compensate for a weakness. You will work harder with less weight, fully developing your muscles through the prescribed range of motion and using proper technique to produce on-field improvements.

Finally, poor or improper exercise form can increase the risk of weight room injuries. Lifting weight places enormous stress on your body, and exercise technique is specifically designed so that you can move the weight safely. If your technique falters, you place vulnerable parts of your body, such as your back, shoulders or knees, in a danger zone, where they are subject to various injuries that can diminish your strength training and degrade your competitive play.

What are some 7-day or 30-day challenges that have significant benefit?

Drink 4 Liters of Water every day - The bathroom breaks will become a lot more frequent but therefore your energy and vitality will increase dramatically as well. Try this for 7 days and you will already see the difference, 30 days for the really motivated individuals.

Wake up between 4–5 a.m. - Wake up incredibly early for a month. You may not think it gives you a lot of benefits but there is a reason almost every single successful person does this. Find out why; Test it yourself!

Do not listen to/read any news for 30 days - The challenge is to ignore everything that is going on and come back afterwards to see how much you actually missed. You will find that the biggest thing you missed was the negativity these news present.

Avoid all sugar - You are not dependent on the foods you think you are. Dieting, becoming a vegetarian or going vegan is relatively easy. Try it out by avoiding sugar for 30 days.

Exercise harder than you think you can - Do not add more weight but add more reps and sets to your routine, jog for longer or swim a couple more laps in the pool. For the next week/month only start counting when it actually hurts.
