This is so so true, but in today’s “connected” world our circle is getting smaller n smaller - day by day, and in so many cases we find ourselves alone in the circle.
There are times when we just need to talk – with someone, anyone, just to be able to hold on to the beautiful but tough journey called life. Blessed are those who have someone to hold on to, talk to… But then, there are the few who don’t have any… May not be because they are loners or are the ones who recharge by being away from the crowd, but they could be the ones who need to be strong for their loved ones, or are afraid of being judged by their friends, or simply they don’t have a shoulder to cry on, or a space where they can unburden themselves…
Have I just painted a picture of yourself, or a part of your own picture? Part, because the reasons can be uncountable ones… No, I haven’t painted your picture. I have just penned down what I see in my mirror. I am someone who in the not so distant past had reached out to strangers in the middle of the night to talk - just talk, but didn’t get any response – not a single. I know the feeling…
I am not a qualified or an experienced person in this field, but I do know the importance of just being able to have someone to talk to… someone who can listen, without judging. I cannot give you any legal or professional advice, but can listen to you and share my personal learning from what I have learned from half a century of years on this planet that we call our home.
