Hardinge Avenue Welfare Association (HAWA) was established in 1963 as a social welfare organization. For over 50 years now, we’ve been conducting various social welfare programs for the underprivileged at our Center located in the heart of New Delhi, a stone’s throw from India Gate. Our social welfare programs over the years have ranged from the training of women in tailoring, running of a Crèche (Day Care) for toddlers of working women, distribution of meals and milk to children & expectant mothers, a free Dispensary, as well as a non-profit dental clinic. Hundreds of thousands of the underprivileged have benefited through our efforts over the last 50 years.
