Shame is the real stain.

Today, we’re sharing stories that many women have lived through but rarely spoken about. Because the more we talk, the less power shame holds.

This Women’s Day, let’s stop hiding the stains that were never ours to carry.

6 signs your body might be showing low progesterone 👇

Progesterone is the hormone that rises after ovulation and helps keep your cycle balanced. It supports mood stability, better sleep, and a smoother period.

If levels are low during the luteal phase (the second half of your cycle), your body may show certain signs.

Here are 6 common symptoms to watch for:

1️⃣ Intense PMS
Mood swings, anxiety, irritability, or sudden crying spells before your period.

2️⃣ Short cycles (less than 26 days)
If your period comes earlier than expected frequently, progesterone may not be sustaining long enough after ovulation.

3️⃣ Spotting before your period
Light brown or pink spotting a few days before your period can sometimes signal an early drop in progesterone.

4️⃣ Heavy or painful periods
Lower progesterone can mean estrogen isn’t balanced well, which may lead to heavier bleeding or stronger cramps.

5️⃣ Low libido
Progesterone helps maintain hormonal balance that supports s*xual desire during the second half of the cycle.

6️⃣ Trouble sleeping before your period
Progesterone has a calming effect on the nervous system. Lower levels can sometimes make sleep harder in the days leading up to your period.

Hormones can fluctuate for many reasons like stress, lifestyle, or irregular ovulation. If symptoms are persistent, it’s always best to consult a healthcare professional.

Your body gives signals — learning to understand them is the first step. 💬

But here’s something not many people discuss

studies show endometriosis may also be linked to a higher risk of heart disease and stroke.

Take a breath. This does not mean that if you have endometriosis, you will have a heart attack. It simply means researchers have found a connection that’s important to be aware of.

So what’s the link?

Endometriosis is a long-term inflammatory condition. In simple words, it means your body is often in a state of internal inflammation. And over time, chronic inflammation can affect blood vessels and heart health.

Some studies suggest that women with endometriosis — especially those diagnosed at a younger age — may have a slightly higher risk of heart-related problems later in life compared to women without it.

Again, this is about awareness, not fear.
If you’re under 40, heart health probably isn’t something you think about. But this is exactly why conversations like this matter. The earlier you know, the better you can take care of yourself.

What can you do?

• Don’t ignore severe or “not normal” period pain.
• Go for regular health checkups.
• Move your body regularly — even simple walks count.
• Manage stress as much as you can.
• Eat in a way that supports overall health, not just weight goals.

Your period health and your heart health are connected. Your body isn’t divided into compartments — everything talks to everything.

At Sirona, we believe better awareness leads to better care.
If you’re under 40 and living with endometriosis, this is your reminder to take your symptoms seriously — and take your heart seriously too. 💛

Here’s what could be happening😱

▫️ PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome) – Hormonal imbalance that can delay or completely stop periods.
▫️ Hypothalamic amenorrhea – Extreme stress, sudden weight loss, excessive workouts, or emotional trauma can switch off ovulation.
▫️ Thyroid imbalance – Both hyper and hypothyroidism can disrupt your cycle.
▫️ High prolactin levels – Sometimes linked to pituitary gland changes.
▫️ Premature ovarian insufficiency – When ovaries slow down earlier than expected.
▫️ Long-term use of certain hormonal pills – Including frequent use of period delay pills without medical supervision, which can temporarily disturb your natural hormonal rhythm.
And here’s what nobody tells you:
When periods disappear for years, it’s not just about bleeding. It can affect:
– Bone health
– Heart health
– Fertility
– Mood and metabolism

Your period is not a burden. It’s a monthly health report.
At Sirona, we believe missing periods shouldn’t be normalized, dismissed, or silenced. Skipping one cycle occasionally can happen. But if you’ve missed 3 or more consecutive periods (and you’re not pregnant), it’s time to speak to a gynecologist.
Don’t self-medicate.
Don’t rely blindly on pills to “bring it back.”
And please don’t ignore it.
Your body whispers before it screams.
If you’ve ever experienced missing periods or know someone who has, drop a ❤️ in the comments or share this with her.

Let’s stop normalizing silence around menstrual health.

Tell us, what makes your period not normal?
Let’s talk about it in the comments. 🤍

Most fears come from:

– Lack of awareness
– No proper demo
– One bad first attempt
– Or just the idea of trying something new
And that’s valid.
Using a menstrual cup is less about bravery… and more about learning your body.

So tell me in the comments
What’s YOUR fear about menstrual cups?
Let’s talk about it openly. 💬✨

Here is something we want you to remember.
A late period does not automatically mean something is wrong.

Your cycle is deeply connected to your life. Stress from work. Lack of sleep. Travel. Emotional overwhelm. Sudden changes in diet. Intense workouts. Hormonal conditions like PCOS or thyroid imbalance. Even excitement. Your body absorbs it all.

A healthy cycle can range anywhere between 21 to 35 days. And even within that, delays of a few days are common. Your body is not a clock. It is a living system responding to what you are going through.

What matters is the pattern.
If your period is late once in a while, it can be normal.

If it is consistently irregular.

If you are skipping cycles frequently.

If you notice unusual symptoms like sudden weight changes, severe acne, excessive hair growth, or intense cramps.

If there is a chance of pregnancy.

That is when you seek clarity, not panic.

At Sirona, we believe your period is not something to be feared or hidden. It is a powerful indicator of your hormonal health. When it shifts, it is your body communicating.
Track your cycle. Take a pregnancy test if needed. Speak to a gynaecologist when something feels off. Ask questions. Get blood work done if recommended. There is no shame in understanding your own body.
And most importantly, be kind to yourself.
Your body is not betraying you. It is adjusting, responding, surviving, and protecting you every single day.

If your period is late right now, breathe. We are here with you.

This is your sign to stop ignoring it. Read below.

When should you NOT ignore spotting?

• It happens every cycle
• It occurs after s*x repeatedly
• It’s accompanied by pelvic pain, foul-smelling discharge, itching, or burning
• You feel weak, dizzy, or fatigued
• Spotting turns into heavy bleeding
In rare cases, persistent spotting can signal cervical or uterine issues, which is why regular check-ups and Pap smears matter.

A gentle reminder from Sirona:
Bleeding between periods isn’t “dirty,” “shameful,” or something to suffer through silently. Your cycle is a vital sign—and it deserves attention.

If something feels off, trust your instincts and speak to a doctor.
Your body is communicating. We’re here to help you listen. 💗

Share it with someone who might need reassurance today.
