The Centre for Liver and Biliary Surgery was founded by Dr. Subhash Gupta in 2006 to meet the growing demand of liver transplant and complicated Hepato-pancreaticobiliary surgery in India. The Centre has 10 senior Surgeons, anesthetists, intensivists and hepatologists who work together not only at Max Hospitals, New Delhi but also at many other hospitals across India. It has two other active centres in Karachi, Pakistan and Almaty, Kazakhstan.
