🌿 Ouch! That Hurts… But What If Food Could Heal?

One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is witnessing how powerful the body’s healing response becomes when we simply give it the food it needs. Over the years, I’ve seen patients reduce—and even reverse—conditions like diabetes, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune disorders. A proud moment, a proud heart! 🎓✨
My son, has officially graduated from Kent State University, Ohio USA in Advertising and Media! Earlier he had won 5 International Film Festival awards for a short film he made few years back.

From homeschooling to university life, he embraced every challenge with tenacity, grit, and unwavering diligence.

The past four years have been filled with triumphs and trials, highs and lows, but he faced each hurdle with resilience and strength. Through it all, he has not only excelled academically—earning a GPA that fills our hearts with pride—but has also been blessed with the most wonderful friends who uplifted him along the way.

Watching him grow into the person he is today has been the greatest joy of our lives. As parents, we couldn’t be prouder of the determination, kindness, and courage he embodies. Today is just the beginning—his wings are strong, and the sky is limitless!

✳️As a healthcare professional, I see firsthand the devastating impact that chronic diseases have on our community. In India, millions of people are being pushed below the poverty line as they struggle to manage these health conditions. This isn't just a statistic—these are real lives affected by preventable diseases.

❇️Plant-based foods are rich in essential nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants that support our overall health. They can help prevent and manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. By making these foods more accessible and affordable, we can improve the quality of life for countless individuals.

❇️According to the Public Health Foundation of India, the economic burden of treating chronic diseases is staggering. Families are depleting their savings and falling into debt to afford treatments. This cycle of illness and poverty is a crisis that we must address urgently.

❇️Singapore has successfully implemented policies to promote healthier eating habits and discourage unhealthy food consumption.
These measures include ➡️ introducing a tax on sugar-sweetened beverages,
➡️ implementing the Healthier Choice Symbol to help consumers identify healthier options, ➡️ enforcing nutritional labelling guidelines,
➡️ restricting advertising of unhealthy foods,
➡️ ensuring healthier meals in schools, and
➡️ running public education campaigns about the benefits of healthy eating.
This comprehensive approach has led to an increase in life expectancy and a reduction in lifestyle diseases.

❇️India can adopt a similar approach to create a healthier and more sustainable future. The government could provide subsidies for fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains to make them more affordable. Implementing taxes on processed foods high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats can discourage their consumption.
