For Ms. Meena Ravi, the CLE program became a space for reflection and meaningful change. By encouraging student voice, participation and confidence in her classroom grew noticeably. With clearer learning intentions, real-life connections, and timely feedback, learning became more engaging, collaborative, and purposeful.

Her experience is a reminder that when educators are supported with the right tools and learning spaces, both teaching practices and student outcomes can truly evolve.

Strengthening public institutions requires sustained collaboration between government systems and implementing partners.

In his testimonial, Dr. Kunal Kanti Dey, Additional Director Health Services (Adolescent Health), Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal, acknowledges how the School Health & Wellness Programme has supported educators in identifying physical and mental health concerns early and fostering healthier school environments. We value this acknowledgement, as it reflects the importance of long-term partnerships in translating policy into meaningful, on-ground action.

Through the ECHO model, ECHO India supports system leaders and educators through peer learning, collaborative problem-solving, and continuous knowledge exchange, aligned with national and state priorities to strengthen public systems at scale.

New peer-reviewed study on Long COVID and tele-mentoring published in PLOS ONE

A recently published study titled 'Evaluating the Impact of Tele-mentoring on Long COVID Management' assesses how structured virtual mentoring such as the ECHO tele-mentoring sessions can support primary care providers in managing complex conditions like Long COVID.

Led by independent researchers and co-authored by members of the ECHO India team, the study involved direct field assessments of 204 Medical Officers and 420 patients. Data collection and analysis were conducted independently to maintain objectivity.

✔️Key Insights from the study:
– 75% of Medical Officers reported applying new clinical knowledge from the sessions in their daily practice
– 95%+ of patients reported satisfaction with care, highlighting better communication and attention from their providers
– MOs also reported increased confidence in managing Long COVID and a more holistic, patient-centred approach including mental health support

These findings offer early evidence of the potential for tele-mentoring models to strengthen frontline healthcare delivery.
