learners This approach is facilitated through a cutting edge digital infrastructure that enables scalable and sustainable capacity building in a cost-effective manner. ECHO India aims to impact the lives of 400 million people in India by the end of 2025. To achieve this goal, in collaboration with our partners, we have launched over 400 hubs and implemented 1000 capacity-building programs that cover more than 30 disease areas. These programs have witnessed over a million attendances from healthcare workers and educators across the country, with remarkable results. The ECHO Model's 'All Teach All Learn' framework has been proven effective and has been validated by over 500 peer-reviewed articles published in renowned national and international journals, such as The New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet. ECHO India has joined forces with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and 29 state National Health Missions (NHMs), municipal corporations, nursing councils, and esteemed medical institutions across India. Some of our leading institutional partners include AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health & Neurological Sciences), NITRD (National Institute for Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases), NICPR (National Institute of Cancer Prevention & Research), Tata Memorial Hospital, and PGIMER (Post Graduate Institute for Medical Education & Research). What if protection from preventable diseases reached everyone, everywhere?

According to UNICEF, nearly one million children die before their fifth birthday. Many of these deaths are preventable and can be averted by interventions such as breastfeeding, immunization and access to treatment.

This World Immunization Week, we stand by this year’s theme: “For every generation, vaccines work.”

At , we are working with partners to strengthen frontline capacity and bridge last-mile gaps because reaching the unreached isn’t impossible, it’s unfinished work.

Every vaccine delivered brings us closer to equity. Every missed one reminds us why we must do more.

Stay tuned as we continue to explore what it truly takes to reach every child, everywhere

Cardiometabolic Syndrome (CMS) affects individuals every day, yet many remain unaware of it. In India, an estimated 77 million people live with diabetes and nearly 220 million people with hypertension (WHO), making timely care essential for early detection and intervention.

With 14+ hubs spread across Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, and Karnataka, ECHO India’s CMS Program has enabled doctors to move from treating patients to perfecting care. More importantly, the program is helping healthcare professionals shift from individual learning to empowering entire healthcare teams.

Dr. Shubhadippatra, Medical Officer, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, shares how the Program is helping him refine clinical practice, strengthen primary healthcare delivery, and improve patient outcomes.

New peer reviewed article about a mixed-methods study on the training outcomes of tele-mentoring for cancer care training published in Discover Public Health

A study titled 'An analysis of training outcomes using the ECHO model for strengthening breast and oral cancer care among health workers in India' led by members of the ECHO India team, the study was conducted with a sample of the study participants including nurses & faculty members.

Published in Discover Public Health, this work reflects participant feedback from ECHO sessions conducted across 12 hubs in 11 Indian states, focusing on enhancing clinical knowledge and competence in breast and oral cancer care.

Key insights from the study:
- Participants reported significant self-assessed improvements in knowledge and competence related to cancer care
- Over 90% of participants were satisfied with the ECHO-based training and its relevance to their work
- A strong intent to apply learning in clinical practice and community outreach was expressed by most attendees

These results offer evidence that tele-mentoring models like ECHO can help strengthen frontline healthcare delivery for priority conditions such as cancer in resource-limited settings.
