Indian women and extramarital s*x
Stress has permeated our daily life and now, among other things, many young women around the world and in India are worried about their s*x life. The word ‘s*x’ and the choices associated with it have been frowned upon in conservative nations.
The common stresses a woman may encounter include, low s*xual self image, arousal, or**sm, desire and responsiveness dysfunction
In our conservative country, s*x or any topic related to physical intimacy is difficult to discuss publicly as it is considered a taboo. Our society young people grow up believing that s*xual intimacy is an activity which should be restricted only to married couples and physical intimacy outside marriage is looked down upon by our conservative society. Surprisingly Infidelity rate is high among married Indian women, as compared to the married Indian men, a survey by Gleeden revealed recently.In Indian mythology a pious wife is compared to a goddess and a married woman who has s*x with a man other than her husband is avoided by everybody. according to the research, 53 per cent of Indian wives admitted to having had an intimate relationship outside their marriage as compared to 43 per cent men.
"Indian women seem particularly open-minded about infidelity, especially when it involves romance'' The study concluded. They survey had married Participants aged 25 to 50 years from major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad.,
The survey found that around 50 per cent of married people in India admitted to having had an intimate relationship with someone other than the spouse.
The number of women who admitted to having regular s*xual in*******se with a man other than her husband far exceeded the number of men who had s*x outside marriage.The surprising finding was that around 48 per cent of Indians believed that one person can be in love with two different persons at the same time.
In Indian scenario 46 per cent think that it is possible to be cheating on a person while still be in love with him/her. This is probably the reason why Indians are ready to forgive their partner in case they found out about the affair.
Survey found that 37 per cent would forgive the partner without a second thought, 40 per cent would do so if the circumstances were extenuating. Similarly, they expect to be forgiven by their partner, said the survey report.
As per the survey, the number of married women having regular s*x with a man who is not her husband stood at 40 per cent while only 26 per cent married men regularly got physically intimate with a second woman.
Nearly 50 per cent of married people in India confessed of having had an intimate relationship with someone other than the spouse, while almost 5 out of 10 have already indulged in casual s*x or one-night stands.
Women have to withstand a tremendous amount of disrespect in India, whether it is on the streets or in the sheets, on a daily basis. That alone is enough to deter them from being open about their s*xuality.However due to online world,they are opening up now & expressing themselves.
