Not a diet. Just what actually worked.
✨ My October plates that kept me full, grounded and feeling good.

October is that awkward in-between weather: not hot enough for light meals, not cold enough for comfort food.
So this month was all about warm, cooked, protein-rich meals that supported digestion and kept my energy steady.

🌿 Warm over cold
As digestion slows in cooler weather, cooked food helps the body absorb nutrients better. Less bloating, more balance.

💪 Protein at every meal
Eggs, paneer, besan, chana – keeping protein consistent (15–25 g per meal) made my energy stable and recovery faster.

🔥 Seasonal immunity foods
I focused on ghee, turmeric, karela, nuts and seeds – small ingredients that quietly build resilience against seasonal fatigue and dry skin.

🥣 Smart carb combinations
Pairing chana with rice or millet with eggs gives a complete amino acid profile.
It is not just about carbs; it is about how you pair them.

🧘‍♀️ Spices that do more than flavour
Cumin, ginger, garlic and cinnamon support digestion and keep your gut from feeling sluggish as the weather cools.

These were not fancy or restrictive, just real meals built around balance, warmth and consistency.

Are you really protected, or just paying for a number? 🧴☀️

SPF isn’t about chasing the highest number. It’s about real protection for your skin, blocking harmful UV rays, preventing pigmentation, and slowing early ageing.

Recent studies by show many popular sunscreens don’t match their SPF claims. As a skin expert, I always say: choose SPF 30+ that’s clinically tested, broad-spectrum, and applied correctly, consistency beats hype.

Swipe through to see why your SPF 50 might only be SPF 15, how to read labels like a pro, and tips to protect your skin the right way.

✨ Pro tip from me: Always apply the 2-finger rule, reapply every 2–3 hours, and pair with shade & sunglasses. Your skin will thank you.

After all the celebrations, fireworks and sweets, your skin is exhausted, not dirty.
Here are 5 things you should not do after Diwali 👇

❌ Overdo exfoliating scrubs with turmeric or haldi. Popular post-festival DIYs can leave micro-tears on already inflamed skin.

❌ Layer too many hydrating oils at once. Coconut, almond, and rose oils combined can block pores, trap pollutants and worsen congestion.

❌ Use body scrubs immediately after rangoli or powder play. Residual pigments can react with scrubs, causing tiny abrasions or rashes.

❌ Forget scalp care. Smoke, dust, and styling products post-Diwali often irritate the scalp, which indirectly affects facial skin by triggering inflammation.

❌ Sleep in festive clothes or sequins. Fabrics trap sweat, smoke residue and glitter, transferring irritants to your skin overnight.

💡 Expert tip: Post-Diwali, your skin thrives on gentle cleansing, hydration and barrier repair. Let it recover rather than trying multiple new treatments at once.

If you want to know how to detox your skin and body the right way — simple, safe and effective
