He is FELLOW OF NATIONAL BOARD (FNB) certified by the National Board of Examination after completion of 2 years of training in the field of minimal access, bariatric and robotic surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital . .

He has been conferred upon the prestigious MRCS degree by the ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS OF ENGLAND. He is a member of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic disorders (IFSO). He has received fellowship (FIAGES) from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons.
