Physical activity is considered safe and beneficial for pregnant women without contraindications to exercise.
Exercise improves the health and wellbeing of both the mother and infant during pregnancy and in the postpartum period.
NEED OF DOING EXERCISE DURING PREGNANCY
-Decreased caesarean births and operative vaginal delivery
-Better postpartum recovery
-Prevention of postpartum depression hypertension
-Prevention of weight gain
-Reduced pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia.
