🧠A Battle at the Base of the Brain – And a Life Saved
Recently, we faced one of the most challenging surgeries in neurosurgery — a complex skull base meningioma deeply embedded near vital brain structures.
The tumour had silently grown near critical nerves and vessels that control vision, movement, and consciousness. With every millimeter, the margin for error grew thinner — but the urgency to act grew stronger.
After hours of meticulous microsurgery, guided by precision, perseverance, and technology, we successfully removed the tumour.
💪 The patient is now awake, recovering well — and most importantly, alive and neurologically intact.
This case is a reminder:
Skull base tumours may be hidden, but timely diagnosis and expert intervention can make all the difference.
Every second in the OR counts — and so does every member of the surgical and ICU team.
Neurosurgery isn’t just about removing a tumour — it’s about restoring life, function, and hope.
Grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.
