आज मन क्यूं भारी भारी सा था,
सारे अपने पराए पराए से थे,
जो लम्हे कल जगमग हो रहे थे,
आज सब मुरझाए से थे ।
इस शाम एक मैसेज आया,
और फिर से एल बी जगमगाया,
फिर लड़ेंगे, चीखेंगे, चिलाएंगे,
क्यूंकि हम एक ही है और एक हो जायेंगे।।
सुख के साथी, भले ही ना बन पाए,
दुख में साथ खड़े हो जाएंगे।।।

एल बी इलेक्शन भी क्या क्या रंग दिखाए,
कोई एम डी, तो कोई आई आई एम एलुमनी हो जाए,
जब संस्था को ढूंढो, तो कोई समझ ना पाए।
कोई स्वतंत्र तो कोई परतंत्र सेवक बन जाए,
तो कुछ लोग दिन भर पार्क में वीडियो बनाए,
और जो हमेशा ऊंची आवाज में बात करते थे,
ऐसे कैंडिडेट सबके प्यारे और ईमानदार कहलाए।।
अब तो हमारी ए ओ ए ने भी ठाना है,
बिना फीता काटे ही, कुछ दिन और बिताना है,
क्यूंकि भैया अगले महीने तक एल बी मे,
अब ऑब्जर्वर का जमाना है।।।
