“Doctor, I didn’t bleed at all after delivery.”
“Doctor, I’m tired of bleeding — when will it stop?”
These are very common concerns from new moms.

Here’s what you need to know:

🩸 After delivery, your uterus is still the size of a football.
It takes up to 6 weeks to shrink back to normal.
As it contracts, intermittent bleeding and cramps are expected.

💊 Today, we have good medications —
so excessive bleeding isn’t common anymore.

❗ But when should you worry?

🔴 If you’re using more than 7 pads/day
👃 If there’s foul smell or itching
⏳ Or if bleeding lasts beyond 6 weeks

👉 Please consult your doctor in these cases.

Otherwise — light, on-and-off bleeding is completely normal.
Be patient, rest, and allow your body to heal.

Please take care. Namaste.

It’s extremely hot these days…
And yet, I see many babies wrapped tightly in thick blankets 😓
The result? Heat rash and constant discomfort.

So let’s talk simple and sensible:
How should you dress your baby in summer?

👕 1. Stick to soft, loose cotton clothes
Avoid frills or synthetic fabric — they irritate the skin and cause sweating.

🩱 2. One extra layer is enough
If you are comfortable in one layer, your baby just needs one light extra, like a muslin cloth or vest.
More than that is unnecessary.

🧢 3. No need for caps or mittens indoors
Babies release body heat through the head and hands — don’t trap it.

🌡️ 4. Do a quick sweat check
If the back or chest feels sweaty, it means baby is overheated.
Remove a layer and keep the room airy.

Newborns feel more heat than cold — so overdressing is actually risky.

Hope this helps.
Please share with a fellow parent who might need this.
Namaste.
