It has been 24 years since our modest beginning .

BBTRC, in the capacity of an exclusive Burns set up is aware of the fact that Cost Management in Burn treatment is of prime and paramount importance. It did not require us to engage in the science of finance to realize the simple co-relation between Input and Output cost within an enterprise. As a result of which, it was a conscious decision of setting up Burn Units within large multi-speciality set ups which were willing to lease a part of their premise along with the basic hospital furniture and equipment. This model of business saves BBTRC the vital and considerably large one time set up and logistics cost and has allowed it to function as a debt free institution. The controlled Input cost further allows BBTRC to keep the establishment and procedural tariff at a level that allows the patient to spend minimum on treatment and maximum on medication. This cost management allows for a better accessibility to treatment for burn victims of all socio-economic backgrounds and at the same time remains a viable proposition for the institution purely because of the quantum of beds that it provides on a national level.

The patient - Baby Gunjan was brought in to our hospital by her father - Mr. Satyaveer on 6th April 2020.The child has sustained Thermal Burn Injury due to accidentally coming in contact with hot oil while she was at home. The child was playing at home and contacted with hot oil when her mother was warming oil for making food ,she fall into hot oil so that she burnt . As a result of the incident, the child has sustained mostly 2nd & 3rd Degree Deep 45% TBSA Thermal Burn Injury. The Burns are on Chest,abdomen,hands and legs area . The nature of injury is life threatening and requires considerable degree of specialist intervention and close monitoring. The patient is a child of 8 years, the injury is of a grave nature. We plan to manage the child conservatively applying wound dressing and debridement procedures to close the wound as early as possible.

The patient - Baby Supriya was brought in to our hospital by her father - Mr. Ram Prem Singh 5th Oct. 2019.The child has sustained Thermal Burn Injury due to accidentally coming in contact with fire while she was at home. The child was with her mother at home and contacted with fire while worshiping at home ,she fall into worship fire so that she burnt . As a result of the incident, the child has sustained mostly 2nd & 3rd Degree Deep 40% TBSA Thermal Burn Injury. The Burns are on face,head area,chest area and hands area . The nature of injury is life threatening and requires considerable degree of specialist intervention and close monitoring. The patient is a child of 2 months, the injury is of a grave nature. We plan to manage the child conservatively applying wound dressing and debridement procedures to close the wound as early as possible.Surgical Skin Grafting if required, would be undertaken at a later stage. face Physiotherapy sessions and Pressure Garments would also be advised to achieve the best possible results against a possible pulmonary collapse and for a contracture and scar free recovery .

The child was playing at home and contacted with hot oil when her mother was boiling oil for making food,she fall into hot oil so that she burnt . As a result of the incident, the child has sustained mostly 2nd & 3rd Degree Deep 20% TBSA Thermal Burn Injury. The Burns are on face,forehead area and right hand . The nature of injury is life threatening and requires considerable degree of specialist intervention and close monitoring. The patient is a child of 10 year, the injury is of a grave nature. We plan to manage the child conservatively applying wound dressing and debridement procedures to close the wound as early as possible

The child was playing at home and contacted with hot milk when her mother was boiling milk so that she burnt . As a result of the incident, the child has sustained mostly 2nd & 3rd Degree Deep 35% TBSA Thermal Burn Injury. The Burns are on abdomen area,back area and hips . The nature of injury is life threatening and requires considerable degree of specialist intervention and close monitoring. The patient is a child of 1 year, the injury is of a grave nature. We plan to manage the child conservatively applying wound dressing and debridement procedures to close the wound as early as possible.Surgical Skin Grafting if required, would be undertaken at a later stage. The nature of injury is life threatening and requires considerable degree of specialist intervention and close monitoring. The patient is a child of 1.6 years, the injury is of a grave nature. We plan to manage the child conservatively applying wound dressing and debridement procedures to close the wound as early as possible.Surgical Skin Grafting if required, would be undertaken at a later stage.
