Biotechnology has been the prime factor contributing to human welfare and development during the past few decades. There has been a tremendous growth in the area of life sciences all over the world to foster the advances in the sector of biomedical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and environmental sciences, widely. The role of biotechnology is seen to be increasingly important towards the success of this developmental process. So, realizing the importance of larger contribution of advances in the life science in various fields of science and engineering, Department of Biotechnology/Bioinformatics, JayPee Institute of Information Technology, Noida (JIIT, Noida), India, is organizing “International Conference on Life Science, Informatics, Food and Environment” (IC LIFE 2014) at JIIT Campus Noida, India on 29th -30th August, 2014.The conference aims to provide a forum for researchers, students and professionals from the industry, academia and government sectors to discourse on research and development, professional practice in the above sectors of Biological Sciences. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
