HISTORY
Opening of the Sahaj Sujok Healing-cum-Training Centre on 05 May 2015 (at AVCC, Sector 37, NOIDA) was the harmonization and congruence of two Cosmic designs. First, the vision of venerable, Mrs Bhupinder Kaur, the cherished student of the Founder of the Sujok Therapy, Prof Park Jae Woo, who has worked tirelessly to take Sujok to many hearts and homes all over the country, to provide succour to the ailing in this part of the NCR. Secondly, the long felt need for a friendly and holistic healing system by the community of Arun Vihar. The community was the inspiration, the benefactor and the beneficiary, all in one. As the word spread about the efficaciousness of Sujok Healing Therapy in healing various physical and mental ailments, the Centre has been blessed to help many citizens from neighbouring communities, and even from neighbouring cities. Over 1100 ailing individuals suffering from a vast range of ailments have sought cure over the past two years. With the Divine Blessings of Her Holiness, Brahmshri Maa Saraswati Devi ji, the Centre found a welcoming home in her Adimath at Sector 37, NOIDA. This Divine space embraced the Sujok journeymen into its spiritual fold, in the manner that it was waiting for the cosmic fusion to take place. VISION
The spirit of healing emanates from the Spirit of Existence - The Fundamental. The spectrum of alleviating pain then encompasses a wider field where Love, Care, Compassion, and Understanding become all pervasive to uplift the Consciousness and bring SMILE in One and All. It is the vision of the Sahaj Sujok Healing cm Training Centre that the individual patients, their families and the society on the whole are able to take care of their own health and happiness in a simple and user-friendly manner without getting caught in the downward spiral of morbidity and ill-health. The ethos of Sahaj Sujok is to totally immerse in extending a healing hand on the SU (hand) and JOK (feet). ACTIVITIES
On any given day between Tuesdays and Fridays (between 10.00 AM till 1.00 PM), an average of 25 patients seek treatment. The number of therapists has increased to more than 10, such has been the interest generated by Sujok. A number of free training sessions have already been conducted to impart fundamental orientation for this therapy. Talks have been conducted at the behest of AVCC, the Sector 37 Gurdwara Committee, Senior Citizen Forum, NOIDA, beside Sector 15 A, NOIDA Club. Similar talks have also been conducted for a number of schools, as also at Maruti-Institue of Drivers’ Training & Research at Sarai Kale Khan, Dilshad Garden and Bahadurgarh. Beside the free training sessions held for the interested members of the community at the Centre, formal training is also being conducted under the aegis of the International Sujok Association. Certificate courses for Levels 1 and 2 have been conducted and over 50 men and women have been trained to be therapists over the past two years. Such courses are regularly followed up with internship at the Centre under the experienced therapists. Follow-up sessions are being constantly organised for the qualified persons to revisit their learning as also to upgrade them with the latest research and development in the Sujok Universe. The imparting of knowledge and sharing of experience is a regular phenomenon through the medium of social networking sites too. ORGANIZATION & FUNCTIONING
The Sahaj Sujok Healing & Training Centre is informally yet efficiently organised, with systems and processes evolved over the past two years. There is no formal structure and everyone involved with the Centre is a volunteer imbibed with the spirit of selflessness. With the precious space provided to run the Centre in a philanthropic gesture, first by the AVCC, and now by Brahmshri Ma Saraswati Devi Adimath, the spirit of selfless service over any kind of material consideration has been the defining philosophy of the Centre. This includes various expendables used in the treatment. The patients are requested to bear the expenses of certain non-expendables such as magnets, rings, balls, mats etc., only when these are needed the most. Those patients who belong to the economically weaker sections are not required to pay for these articles also. The patients, who are the raison d’etre for the Centre, have been graciously pitching in with their donations, both in cash and kind. Their contributions form the mainstay of viability of the Centre.
