𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮

It is believed that Sage Durvasa presents Indra Dev with a Garland. But Indra is sitting on his elephant AIRAWAT who he instructs to pass it on. But Indra Dev’s bad luck, the Elephant throws the garland on the floor & tramples it.

Watching his gift to Indra being trampled by Airawat(elephant), Sage Durvasa gets super angry at Indra’s sense of entitlement & curses him that he & all Gods will loose their possessions including CHINTAMANI, KALPAVRIKSHA, KAMADHENU & the most PRECIOUS ELIXIR OF LIFE - AMRIT (anyone consuming Amrit becomes immortal).

As a result, Indra runs to Maha Vishnu for help, who suggests SAMUDRA MANTHAN (churning of the seas) as the only way to get back his possessions.

But SAMUDRA MANTHAN is a huge task which the Devta’s can’t do by themselves and would need the help of the DAITYAS.

They get MOUNT MANDHARA & convince the SERPENT KING VASUKI to be the rope that will be tied around mount MANDHARA & used to churn the ocean.

Indra also convinces the King of the DAITYAS BALI to help with the monumental task in exchange for equal rights on the AMRIT.

➡️When the churning starts

MANDHARA keeps slipping into the sea
that’s when Lord Vishnu takes the KURMA AVATAR (Tortoise) and holds the mountain on his back.

Then comes out the HALA HALA poison - which is consumed by Lord Shiva
Then came a Cow, Airawat, Kaustabha mani, Parijata tree and many other things.
Then comes Mahalaxmi, she chooses Lord Vishnu as her husband.

Then finally came DHANAVANTRI with the AMRIT KALASH.
this KALASH (or KUMBHA) is snatched by some DAITYAS after which they scoot.

They are on the run for 12 days.

Some of the Amrit spills during this episode in

Prayagraj
Haridwar
NASHIK
UJJAIN

1 Day of the Devas equals 1 Human Year where Since UTTARAYAN (Makar Sankranti -14th Jan to karka sankranti-14 July) is considered the DAY TIME of the DEVAS & DAKSHINAYAN (Karla sankranti - 14th July to Makara sankranti-14th Jan) is considered as night of the Devas. 12 days for Devas works out to 12 human years.

That’s the reason KUMBHA MELA is organized in these 4 places once in 12 years. But Haridwar & Prayagraj also organize a ARDHA KUMBH which will be 6 years after a PURNA KUMBH.

A MAHAKUMBH is organized after every 12 PURNAKUMBHA’s, hence every 144 years!

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐡?

🔆A rare cosmic event with high spiritual energy only happening after 144 yrs. You & even your kids will not witness this again!

🔆Belief is, a dip in the rivers during the KUMBH is said give an individual from all their sins.

🔆Also, collective energy of crores of devotees make this gathering supercharged with highest form of spiritual energy & collectively seeking - SALVATION FROM SINS & FORGIVENESS

This experience is truely ethereal.

Hanuman is a powerful symbol of protection, strength, and spiritual growth. His worship and reverence are believed to bring numerous benefits, including removal of obstacles, knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment.

➡️The story goes like that Ram and Lakshman were captured by the rakshasa Mahiravana brother of Ravan, who held them captive in their palace in Patala, the netherworld.

Mahiravana keeps them as offerings to his deity. Searching for them, Hanuman reaches Patala. Upon entering Patala, Hanuman discovers that to kill Mahiravana, he must simultaneously extinguish five lamps burning in different directions.

Hanuman assumes the Panchamukhi or five-faced form of Sri Varaha facing north, Sri Narasimha facing south, Sri Garuda facing west, Sri Hayagriva facing the sky and his own facing the east, and blows out the lamps. Hanuman then rescues Rama and Lakshmana from Mahiravana.

Panchmukhi Hanuman, also known as Panchamukha Anjaneya.

♾Varaha Face: The face at the top represents Varaha, the boar avatar of Lord Vishnu, symbolizing the power to rescue and protect.

♾Hayagriva Face: The face at the back represents Hayagriva, the horse-headed avatar of Lord Vishnu, representing knowledge, wisdom, and victory over ignorance.

𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 & 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚

According to Hindu mythology, the moon god, Chandra, was cursed by his father-in-law, Daksha, for his alleged neglect of his 27 wives (the 27 nakshatras or lunar mansions).

Daksha, who was a powerful king and a devotee of Lord Vishnu, was angry with Chandra for not giving equal attention to all his wives. As a result, Daksha cursed Chandra to wane and eventually disappear.

𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚'𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Chandra, desperate to escape the curse, sought the help of Lord Shiva. Shiva, being the compassionate and powerful deity that he is, decided to intervene on Chandra's behalf.

Shiva placed Chandra on his forehead, where he remains to this day. This act not only saved Chandra from the curse but also allowed him to wax and wane in a cyclical manner, symbolizing the eternal cycle of birth, growth, decay, and rebirth.

𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

The story of the moon and Lord Shiva is rich in symbolism and spiritual significance:

1. Cycles of Life: The waxing and waning of the moon represent the cycles of life, death, and rebirth.

2. Feminine and Masculine Energies: The moon represents the feminine energy, while Shiva represents the masculine energy. Their union symbolizes the balance and harmony between these two energies.

3. Spiritual Growth: The story encourages spiritual growth and self-reflection, reminding us that even in darkness, there is always the potential for growth and renewal.

In vedic Astrology, if the position of the Moon is weak in your birthchart, the most powerful remedy is to pray to Lord Shiva & fast on Mondays. This will makes one's Moon(karaka of mother, liquid money, emotion/ feelings, mental strength, fame, happiness, peace of mind, domestic happiness, travel etc) positive & strong.

Akshay Vat Vatika ( tree of life) towering height of 150 feet and sprawling roots are enough to intimidate anyone. It is considered a living representation of Sage Sukhdeva.

Lord Brahma had carried out a huge yajna in Prayagraj to save the Earth. In this yajna, he himself became a priest, Lord Vishnu as a host (Yajaman) and Lord Shiva as the presiding deity of the sacrifice.

In the last leg of the yajna, the Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh (Shiv) - created a 'tree' to lighten the burden of sins on the earth with its strength. It was a banyan tree known today as Akshayavat.

It is believed that the invisible River Saraswati flows under the Akshayavat, immortal bayan tree. Lord Rama and Sita lived for three nights under this vat tree while going on 'vanvaas'. In Ramayana, Akshayvat is mentioned as Neelvat (नील वट) or Shyamvat (श्यामवट). Mata Sita gave this tree a boon that it can never be destroyed & will live enternally.

It is believed that parikrama of Akshayvat is parikrama of entire brahmand.

It exits within the ramparts of Akbar kila in Prayagraj, A must visit for Sanatani if in Prayag raj.

SoulSutra started by Amrita Shanker , advocates Holistic well- being of MIND-BODY-SOUL by offering guidance through Numerology,Tarot and Angel card readings, Chakra Balancing, Reiki, Pranic Healing and Meditation Sessions.

I started this journey in 2010, when I ventured into the World of Tarot. I went for a personal reading & got hooked on to it. It was like cards were calling me and trying to connect with me. I decided to learn Tarot & Numerology. Since then my deep connection with the world of occult , Spiritualism and Meta Physics began. I have had so many life changing experiences, learning & lessons on this path which lead to my personal growth.

Numerology gave me an insight on my life situations, a deeper understanding of the self & clarity on the path ahead. I decided to get into healing as I realized that so many lives can be touched, changed & healed. A constant and consistent effort into this field & to touch more & more lives is my life purpose now. I truly believe, that transformation is possible for everyone, if they are willing. In gratitude towards the universe for changing my course of direction into this mystical world. There is always something to learn & share. look forward to new experiences each day in this beautiful world. My Mantra ‘Believe it and receive it.’
