𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀

During my month-long stay in Pune, I chose to live in my daughter’s PG — not out of convenience, but out of love and connection. She stays in Pune for her college, and I was deeply longing to spend some meaningful, unhurried time with her and experience a glimpse of her everyday life.

Transitioning from Noida in Feb to Pune’s warmer summer and adjusting to nights without air conditioning was not effortless.

Yet, discomfort often becomes the doorway to deeper experiences and unexpected insights.

The only place I have visited yet is the sacred 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐢 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞— and it gifted me a moment of profound awareness.

Within the temple’s serene atmosphere, free from distractions and digital interruptions, there was space simply to pause, reflect, chant, and surrender to the divine presence. The energy felt tranquil, grounding, and deeply elevating.

As a spiritual mentor, I always emphasise that life is not measured by achievements but by the moments we consciously live. Watching my daughter and her friend immerse themselves in simple joys — darshan, shared laughter, and relishing local food — felt deeply fulfilling.

When I asked them, “𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐡𝐨, 𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐚𝐚𝐲𝐚?” they giggled like little girls and replied, “𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐭.” In that innocent laughter, I witnessed pure happiness — effortless, authentic, and complete.

We often chase milestones believing happiness lies somewhere ahead. Yet fulfillment quietly unfolds in ordinary experiences embraced with presence:
- a sacred visit,
- quality time with loved ones,
- simple food,
- and a peaceful heart.

𝑲𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒏𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒓: 𝑨 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆

While cleaning a temple, an old sweeper who was a devoted follower of Lord Krishna watched people come all day with endless prayers, complaints, and requests. One day he looked at the idol and said lovingly,
“Bhagwan, you must be tired listening to everyone’s problems. Why don’t you take some rest today? I will stand in your place.”

Krishna smiled gently and replied,
“Thank you. That is very thoughtful of you. I will take a break, and you can take my place. But remember one thing — no matter what happens in front of you, you must not interfere.”

The sweeper agreed. Krishna switched places with him and went to rest.

As the morning passed, a rich man came to the temple to pray. While leaving, a bag full of money fell from his waist without him noticing. The sweeper saw everything but remembered his promise and stayed silent.

After some time, a poor man entered the temple. He was desperate — he had no money to feed his family. When he saw the bag, he believed his prayers had been answered. Thanking God with tears in his eyes, he picked up the money and left to feed his loved ones. The sweeper felt uneasy but kept quiet.

Later, a sailor arrived to pray for a safe journey. While he was praying, the rich man returned, discovered his money missing, and immediately accused the sailor of stealing it. The police came and began dragging the innocent sailor away.

Unable to bear it any longer, the sweeper broke his promise and shouted,
“Stop! It was a poor man who took the money!”

At that moment, Krishna appeared and asked the sweeper how his day had been. The sweeper proudly explained everything and said he had ensured justice.

Krishna looked at him calmly and said,
“I asked you not to interfere because you could not see the whole picture.

The rich man had earned that money through dishonest means. He was about to finalise an unethical deal — losing the money would have stopped him from doing wrong.

The poor man desperately needed help. That money would have saved his family from hunger.

And the sailor — the ship he was going to board would face a terrible accident. Being in jail would have saved his life.”

The sweeper lowered his head, realising how little he understood compared to divine wisdom.

Krishna gently said,
“Always remember — everything happens for a reason. Humans see only a small part of the story, but I see the whole picture. Trust that even when things seem unfair, there is a greater purpose.”

Moral: We often judge situations based on limited understanding. Trust in the bigger plan — sometimes what looks wrong is actually divine protection.
