Day in and day out, many patients come to us & tell us that they have been advised to have fusion surgery, and why do you want to do endoscopic spine surgery?

The reason is simple: motion is better than stiffness; motion is life; stiffness slowly leads to many complications, including adjacent segment disease.

Endoscopic spine surgery requires very high accuracy. Just like a laser beam the accuracy of putting scope in at the right place on the skin has to be millimetres accurate.

And that is why we use very high and sophisticated measuring devices and complex use of trigonometrical data to make a 6 millimetre hole to operate.

Got the opportunity to serve as a Faculty, training surgeons from across India and abroad in a highly specialised, advanced spine procedure called OLLIF (Oblique Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion).

The hands-on cadaver training course, held at Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly, focused on equipping surgeons with the skills to perform this minimally invasive technique that reduces an 8-hour surgery to just 1 hour, with minimal blood loss and faster recovery.

Grateful to be a part of this journey in spine surgery education.
