The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at Lakhimpur Medical College & Hospital, North Lakhimpur, with unfurling of the National Flag by Superintendent Dr. Raktim Borgohain and singing of the Jatiya Sangeet and National Anthem. This was followed by speeches from amongst the gathered Faculty, Staff & Students, recollecting the sacrifices of all those involved in securing the Country's independence and the adoption of its Constitution and becoming a Republic.The event also included a fruit distribution program led by the Superintendent of LMCH and Addl Superintendent, Hospital Administrator and Officials from District Commissioner Office..

A CME programme, focusing on " Newer updates in the NTEP ( National tuberculosis elimination Programme) was conducted at LMCH on 27/11/2025. The aim of the CME was to strengthen knowledge among post graduate trainees and internees regarding recent policies, diagnostic updates and treatment guidelines for TB elimination. The insights were delivered by Dr H Baruah, DTO Lakhimpur, Dr C Mili, nodal person, Dr Partha Saikia, nodal person.
