Sharing one very rare and critical surgery details ……
20 yr girl came to us with severe stomach pain and vomitings from 10 days.Parents were treating her at some local hospital with medicine.
When she came here she was in a serious life threatening state.We performed tests and diagnosed one rare problem.
We performed an emergency abdominal Gastro surgery and removed around 3 kgs of hair from her stomach and intestines.
The girl has been eating the hair from many years which got accumulated in stomach.
Girl recovered nicely after surgery and we discharged her .
This condition name is called TRICHOBEZOR.It is a very rare condition in the world.
Parents should have a close look on what children’s habbits are to prevent such problems.
