Barapathing HWSC successfully launched and inaugurated the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) .

This initiative aims to spread awareness, encourage early health check-ups, and empower women through education and participation, ultimately contributing to the betterment of the entire community and nation.

# PMJAY card generation
# Teleconsultation
# IECs on Breast self examination and Poshan maah.

Nikshay Shivir (TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan)

Nikshay Shivir was successfully conducted at Barapathing by Barapathing HWC-SC staffs , TBHV Machong HWC and Technicians of Singtam District TB centre. The initiative aimed to intensify community awareness on tuberculosis amidst a steady rise in TB cases, and strengthen early case detection and treatment initiation.

Activities done ;
# TBHV sensitized participants on the causes, symptoms, preventive measures, and available treatment for TB.
# Targeted Chest X-ray and Cy-TB tests were carried out for the vulnerable population.
# Screening for Non-Communicable Diseases.
# ABHA card generation.
# PMJAY Card generation.

National Deworming Day – 2nd Round

The 2nd round of National Deworming Day observed at different schools under Barapathing Health and wellness center with the theme “Eliminate STH: Invest in a Healthier Future for children .

This initiative aims to deworm all children aged 1-19 years targeting all Government and Private Schools as well as Aganwadi Centres to combat soil-transmitted helminths (STH) and improve their overall health and well-being .
