Patient presented with extra oral swelling confined to buccal region. Intraoral findings : carious lower first molar and gingival abscess . Access opening of concerned tooth was done to relieve pressure , abscess drained .One week follow up post medication today shows : subsided swelling and pain. Patient Clinically better .

Oral prophylaxis done for a 72 year old male patient today( follow up case post NCD screening ). Patient presents with Generalised periodontitis and severe calculus deposits . Investigation revealed generalised horizontal bone loss .
